Years ago...when I first started Atkins (about 10 yrs ago), I used to eat the hot dogs and cheese (late at night), deli meats, etc... It was, at the time, the best I could do to let go of my old way of eating (Mickey Dees, Wendys, etc.)...I lost alot of weight...but as I have restarted the diet...I wouldn't recommend eating like that cuz it did cause "cravings"...probably from the hidden sugars. Since this is a life-long goal thingy...I would suggest trying to stick with "whole foods" as best you can...if just to keep cravings away!
