[PHPBobbolink - 959 calories? That's not a lot at all. Are you sure you're eating enough?

Robin.....NO, that is not enough calories. I try to get 1200 in daily but sometimes I just can't do it. Since I live out in the country, I do all my shopping, errands, etc. once a week or so. That means I eat my lunch late, then when it's time for supper I'm not hungry but eat anyway. I try to make up the calories after supper by eating Pudding or popcorn. But you can only eat so much. This was my menu the day I didn't reach my daily calorie goal.
Breakfast:
Multiple Vitamins, Niacin, Calcium and Salmon Oil (10 calories on the oil)
Fiber One-56 Calories
2 slices 12 Grain Light bread-80 cal
2 slices rolleposte meat-76 cal ( lean type of lunch meat)
Off to town
Late lunch: (I Picked something I could eat on the run while putting away groceries, purchases, etc.)
Flat Out Wrap-90 cal
Turky Bologna-25 cal
Southwest spicy mustard-9 cal
FF Milk-80 cal
Supper: Meat Ball Salad
Large bowl of lettuce-15 cal
Cucumber-5 cal
onions-2 cal
Tomatoes-19 cal
5 Meatballs-187 cal
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil-119 cal
1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar-0 cal
I was stuffed after eating this big salad and still very short on calories so after supper I ate:
FF Cheesecake pudding-70 cal
FF Cool Whip-15 cal
Orville R. Mini Bag popcorn-100 cal
Total 959.
I kind of hit and miss on all the basic food groups and I don't like eating less than 1200 calories, but sometimes it happens. I could easily go all day without eating because I don't ever get real hungry. I love vegetables and could easily be a vegetarian but I'm married to a hunter and we have about 800 pounds of Elk meat in our freezer right now. Also Pheasant, Venison, and Fish. I know lots of people get their calories in by eating high calories sweets, but I'm not a sweet eater. I've lost 5.5 pounds in 18 days, that averages out to 2.17 pounds per week.
O.K. I'll get off my soap box!
