September Goals
 
Hello Chickies,

So, September is fast approaching us. What are your personal goals for the month? For some of us, August was a great month, for others- September will be a better month!

New clothes for the fall?

Lower digits?

Eating cleaner?

More workouts?

What do you hope to achieve in September?


I would like to continue not taking an interest in food- I think my food obsession was what created this backslide, and food is just fuel. Nothing more, nothing less. Once again. I would also like to see below 175 by the 15th of Sept. and the VERY low 170s by the end of the month. I lost 7 lbs last month, and weighted in at 180.2 this morning.

I would like to get to 20% body weight lost. It's only 12 pounds away, so it seems pretty reasonable! Anything else on top of that will just be gravy.

I'd like to lose at least 10 lbs this month and start adding exercise into my weight loss plan after my kids are both in school. Last year my husband barely recognized me when he came home from deployment and I'd love for the same thing to happen this year.

August was a great month for me, I lost a total of 11 lbs.

My main goal for September is to lose 10 lbs. I'm 167 now so 157 is my goal. If I can't make that, then my second goal is to be 161--that would put me at a 30 lb weight loss since I started my journey on July 7.

Of course my ongoing goal is to fit comfortably into a size 8. It still feels tight, but is getting better

August wasn't that great of a month. I seem to be stuck at around 70 kilos (154 pounds). My goals are:

Get below 68 kilos (150 pounds)

Eat healthier food

Run 5 kilometres in 30 minutes or less (this one is a bit ambitious, since I run one in 36 minutes, but theres no reason not to push myself)

No binging!

August was good for me. I hope September can bring me down ten pounds to 194. It will be nice to be out of the 200s and weigh less than Jason (my husband).

I guess I could join in. I think I need to write this down to really commit it in my head.

Weight loss has slowed down tremendously since June. I started at 207 June 1st, and have only made it to where I am. Granted that's still losing, but no where near the rate I was - despite being on plan except for a week of vacation.

I'd still like to see 181 (100 lbs gone) by 10/24, my 1 year anniversary so:

I'd be happy with 5lbs for Sept - so 183.
Would be nice if the 14s I bought would fit too, but I doubt that, probably need 170 for that.

Ok, seeing that in writing was odd. I guess that is still 6lbs a month since June so I guess that's really not bad. It just feels SO long ago. :/

good morning chickies! happy sept 1!

no weight in (bad news bears in the fridge department last night). bad news bears in the studio department as well, but i am up bright and early, going to the studio- then have an epic weekend planned. my goal, is to not binge, not munch, not snack and just eat regularly. my friend is coming in from out of town around 5 pm tonight, i hope to eat as little as possible until then, then we will have dinner and go out.

my plan is to have a GIANT eggwhite /veg omelette and then to go run errands. if i stay away from the fridge, i can't eat it. ha

Would like to lose 6 lbs, taking me down to 212. This will take me through the 30lb and 2 stone milestones. But, I will be happy with any loss, so we'll see.

Ditto! I want to reach 20% lost as well. According to my bodybugg, if I stay at the same deficit I should reach 230lbs by (on) September 30 if I'm consistent with my deficits.

That's also a great number for me because I have a lot of clothes in my closet that fit me at 230 but are still too tight now!

I'm going to join in here and say my Sept Goal is to lose ten more pounds, BUT I'd be excited as heck to get to 199 by the end of Sept :) I'm going to be realistic, though, that my fast weight loss is probably going to slow down at some point, so just to continue to be on plan, and losing, will be great :)

My goal is simply to keep on keeping on, with perhaps fewer overeating episodes that I have to compensate for.

I am hoping to just stay on plan.

My first non-scale goal is to stay on plan for three months. Once I get there I might start adding in exercise once a week, or adjust my diet a little, but I don't want to overwhelm myself because that's what I always do.

So September's goal is to stay on plan, and hopefully reach my first scale goal of 249lbs! I have never been closer to 300lb than 200lbs and it really scared me when I saw 260 on the scale, so I'm going to be glad to tip closer to 200.

My goals are to be binge-free for September, and to get under 170, ideally around 167. It will be tough, but if I stay on plan and don't binge it should be doable!

I want to be down 10 more pounds...or at least as close to it as I can be...lol. I went through my closet this weekend and have 2 big bags of clothes that are to big to donate...everything in my closet fits me right now...so I am hoping that by the end of the month I will need to buy at least 2 new outfits :D

september challenge, I would love to loose 15 pounds at least, I'm just starting so... the best would be 17 so I would be in the 18X but let's not get crazy and then get discouraged :P Plus, from the 21st to the 30th, I'm going on vacation so yeah... not good.

I don't know why I never saw this thread for calorie counters! Prolly cuz when I joined 3FC I was on WW back then. I'd luv to join y'all.

My goals for September are:
1. to lose 13 lbs (that will put me at 287/25% of my TOTAL goal!)
2. to do 60 hours or more of cardio
3. to log 60 miles of: walking, jogging, elliptical, rowing, cycling, cross training, etc

169 this morning. I know its water weight from being on my feet all weekend but it still sucked to see it on the scale this morning. We are going to work half a day and then come home and bbq. So I guess I will be on my feet for a whole day again. Yikes! My feet hurt.

Its great to see so many new faces on here! We could use your encouragement and hopefully we can encourage you back!

I'd really like to lose at least 7 pounds, making me 151 on the last day of september. Also, my birthday is at the beginning of next month, and I want to look good in a costume on Halloween.

As far as activity goes, I really want to get into toning/weight training, but I don't know where to start. Guess it's time to figure it out!

hi chickies, it's awesome to see new faces! welcome!! all of the goals look so realistic and inspiring!

after taking the weekend off (but still being mindful), i saw 178.8 this morning, which is GREAT given that i over indulged in some bbq last night. i am taking the day today to unload a little bit. i have taken 2 days away from the studio, as well as the gym, so back on track tomorrow!

August sucked for me so I'm hoping some good loss I have a goal of 198 for this month I'm at 205 and stuck here after going up and down the past two weeks, I have to structured exercise plans set out to follow so I hope for pound loss and inches loss. And oh so exciting to get to onderland!!

September for me is just staying on track and watching what i eat a little more carefully. I overate some homemade chili&rice and, while delicious, i felt pretty bad afterwards.(Thankfully didn't gain)

I also walk/jog everyday and want to start jogging a little bit more.

My goal weight would be 265-260 (Current=273)

168.5 this morning. We had family dinner/BBQ yesterday and I cooked and ate for hours. I feel gross this morning. Maybe an extra long walk with the dogs will make me feel better. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

178.6- with 0 movement yesterday. i literally spent the day in bed. eating. which means 178.8 wasn't a rare mysterious fluke. AND i'm on my TOM. which means that if i can keep my mouth shut, and head out of the fridge, we're going to see a WHOOSH and a half. *fingers crossed*. I just want to see 175 before sept 15th!!

I am headed to the studio now, bright and early. it's an ugly, sleepy day. and i'm feeling very...inflexible haha.

then i have a hellerwork appointment and seeing a friend (This will probably involve food), given this past weekend, i need to white knuckle!

My September Goals:

1. Walk 30 minutes, three times a week, no-matter-what. Work on additional distance and speed.

2. CCCC - Continue Carefully Counting Calories. Weigh/measure food as indicated.

3. Loose 5 pounds.

today is going great. worked out hard and I feel good. here's where I sit with my Sept goals:

1 lb lost, 12 more to go

7 hours of cardio done, 53 to go

18.5 miles logged, 41.5 to go

(I wonder if I set the bar too low for the 60 miles goal. When I made the goal I hadn't previously paid much attention to my miles so I just picked a number. :p oh well!)

167 this morning.

We have alot of stress right now. Please pray for my cousin's little girl. Her mom is on drugs and he is in a battle to get custody. The mom's mom is trying to get her too. Its a mess. Please pray that this baby ends up where God wants her. We really want whats best for her.
