i just got home from the out of town wedding.
i am going to weigh tomorrow, and no matter what the scale says I will: - drink 3 liters of water (at least). that is 4 refills of my water bottle. - I will stay away from simple carbs. - I will go to either the studio/ or the gym for a kettlebell workout. I am slowly learning that weight loss is not my life, but weight MAINTENANCE is a huge part of my life, I am also becoming more accepting, gaining more self control, and leading a more balanced lifestyle. There are 2 more weeks left in September, and I REALLY want to see something below 175. |
stimkovs- you can do it! How was the wedding? Did it go ok with the date? How did your dress look?
166.5 this morning. I did nothing all weekend. My back is still out of whack and TOM is hanging around. At least I am still on plan. Everyone have a great day! |
Hi! Just a quick check in. I have gained weight and really need to get back to plan. I am up 5-10 pounds. I decided to go ahead and stop the birth control I had been trying b/c I was having migraines 2-3X a week lately. I was also fatigued, nauseous, and bloated but that huge increase in migraines was the last straw. It's been only a week but I feel much better.
My body pain is still way down! My pain relief meds are working out well. Looks like the temps are cooling off too so I am looking forward to going for long walks without worrying about heat exhaustion or sunburns. Anyway, I am trying to get back on track. We have about 6 weeks til Halloween. I am dressing up as Marcelline from Adventure Time and I'd like to be slimmer by then. I will not be going over 1750 in cals, shooting for closer to 1500. I really want to make the most of this next 6 weeks to give myself a big boost towards goal. Hopefully by the end of the year, I will need a new wardrobe! Hope everyone is doing well! |

179.2 is what my extremely dehydrated self weighed!! this is after eggrolls, carbs, grease, booze, rinse and repeat. i think we may have found a happy place? now, 10 more lbs to go. haha
toobig- thanks for asking! the wedding was beautiful, there was a tonne of food, but i had gone with the bride to pick out her main meal, so it was impressively clean, so steak, complex carb/veg. there were "munchies" after at the reception that did involve a tonne of greasy stuff like mozza sticks, but after drinking and dancing all night, that is a-ok. the date was great, it was one of the tennants from the house that my original date owns, the whole house showed me a good time, and they said some incredibly nice things, which is obviously fantastic. i also avoided seeing my original date which obviously created less stress. overall, it went as well as it could've gone! actually, no. my dress was too big. see attached pictorial: lol |

Chinese food! I'm drooling here Toobig :D I overate Saturday & Sunday and got back on plan today. I weighed in at 130 this morning. We've had beautiful weather the past couple days, I love this time of year. We're supposed to get a couple inches of rain tonight & tomorrow, so I'll have to do inside cardio for sure. |

tzumom- inside cardio is nice for a good switch up! and overeating happens, i mean- what would life be without a twist right? me: all goals went well for yesterday. i even did c25k w3d1 yesterday. i think i am going to register for a 5 k. got the water in, had an interview, saw 178 - this morning woo. today i plan on going to the studio, then doing a run, then doing spinning. and drinking a tonne of water. i really enjoy having all of this time on my hands lol |
Checking in from camping. it's been tough to stay on plan! Now I only have 400 cals left for dinner and friends talked us into going out to eat at a fish shack instead of what we had planned. I think I can do halibut without the chips and sub in veggies.

This morning I weighed in at 67.9. That means I've reached one of my September goals! Hopefully I can keep it off and lose some more for the rest of the month.

165.5 this morning. Good bye TOM hello low weight. Its nice to be back at my low weight. Now if I can just push through and get to 163!

Well So far I am down 4lbs....I have been working hard for 6-7 weeks and I am down a total of 19lbs!!! I am utterly shocked!

Hi all! I know I'm a bit late to join in this goals thread. I've taken quite a hiatus for the last 2 months! Things have been insane in my family from my grandfather nearly dying to my uncle having brain surgery and then they found brain cancer (in the same week as my grandpa mind you). Things have just been crazy and finally seem to be calming down for the moment.
For the good news: My grandfather is doing better and my uncle is getting treatment for 6 weeks. He has about 2 years of a "normal life" left if the treatment works. He's in positive spirits, which is important. Anyhow.. during this time I managed to keep my weight between 146 and 149, which is pretty insane considering I haven't counted calories for 2 months nor exercised on a regular schedule either. This week I've decided it's time to continue and finish my journey! So my goals for the rest of the month: -Exercise 3-5/week -Count my calories each day. My exercise this week has been walking/running 2 miles which I've done twice so far. Today is my first official day back to calorie counting regularly. Hope everyone is doing well! I'll do personals later! :carrot: |

180.8 this morning. I ate well yesterday. so, body? ummmm? what the duck?? ya. i know i know, but i'm still upset. i just want to see 177. i've been re-losing and regaining the same 5 lbs for months, and i'm still like 10 lbs heavier then i was at the end of april! :( |

I'm home from camping and overall I think I did pretty good! I've been taking a break from the scale since last week and I plan on weighing in on Monday. I'm just focussing on staying on plan until then because that hovering so close to onderland was killing me.

bridgettedavis my best suggestion is, stick your claws out, dig your heels in- and atleast hold on for the ride- holding steady is better then gaining.
toobig anytime! i am living vicariously through you. i ate some unmentionables yesterday. i've also decided to stop weighing for a while. i may claw through for about another week or so, and then will re-evaluate, maybe maintain for a while since nothing is happening |

Stimkovs: I too had some ''very tasty food" last night, but not to be mentioned! LOL. Today is back to a normal day though! Yesterday I didn't get to exercise and I ate like complete junk, completely! LOL. Today I plan to go exercise a little later on, we'll see though. This weekend we have a convention to go to, so at least there's lots of walking. :D I'm eating good today. Staying relatively healthy. :D Later chicas! |

i had some not so tasty food over the last couple of days. apparently, i am a phenomenal garbage disposal for food that nobody else seems to eat in the house.
then i went out. we all know how that ended. back in the saddle. today- i will try to finish the day on a good, healthy note, tomorrow, there will be some white knuckling, including water intake, and proper food intake. monday, i will weigh. |

Weighing in tomorrow after two weeks of not checking is making me nervous now! I've been doing good though. TOM started today but I'm hoping to still see a nice drop.

toobig- i need duct tape across my mouth, and a sign on my forehead that says "do not feed the animals". ironically, i also need a cheat meal. HA no weigh in. - avoiding the scale. ACTUALLY counted, literally, and logically and accurately yesterday. hit at around 1550 calories, which is nice. it seems though my BMI alone is in the high 1600's though, so i think im going to shoot for 1650 today- staying away from the scale as i no longer care what it thinks of me, and I am going to cook some grains (i never eat grains lol) but i think i will continue counting. |
200.6. Oh where, oh where has the little ONE gone? lol winding down TOM and starting a new calorie week that does not involve camping.
