Unfortunately, there's no simple answer. It depends on a lot of factors, including your age, activity level, height, starting weight and so many other factors including those which are so unique to you, that no one can answer for you. You have to experiment (ideally with the help of your doctor and a dietitian).

yea! had class this a.m. n a lose of 2 more lbs(SOO surprising with all the extra food intake altho healthy)! yes my caloric intake needs to be readjusted due to my activity level. to start was 1-3 days of lite activeness and now its 7 days a week of cardio n 7 days a week of alternate body area strength/muscle training! learning new things every day, even from my mistakes lol!

I started at 1200 calories but at that time I was a bit of a lump. Now that I am exercising every day. I increased my activity level and now eat 1500/day. I am loosing more consistantly on 1500 than 1200 but part of that may be my exercise. I was getting really really tired after working out. It's getting better now. Also make sure you are drinking your water. I drink 3-4 liters a day. I just keep a liter bottle (old diet coke bottle )with me all the time.
I hope that helps.
