  • I tried them and they are just not for me. I like zucchini noodles waaay more! I liked them so much that I eat them 3 nights in a row

Those zero calorie noodles are just... I can't handle the texture or smell.
  • Zucchini noodles? aka spaghetti squash? Just wondering-wanting t make sure there aren't other things out there I don't know about! Thanks
  • Spaghetti squash and zucchini noodles are different.

Cut green zucchini with a Julienne cutter and microwave for 2 minutes (I use a microwave steamer )

Put whatever sauce you want and they will taste amazing! The texture is great too.. they are virtually calorie free (20 calories for a huge plate)

Same here. Now I'm seeing them all over the place. Wish I would have tried 1 bag before spending money on all of that.
  • LAgreeneyes: I bought mine at Safeway the 1st time... For some reason they were OK, but the 2nd time I just couldn't stand the texture. I gave them a try again recently with no luck, because they were just uneatable

I ordered mine online. I can't even GIVE them away for FREE. No one wants them.

    Oops!!

Oh well, we all make mistakes. If anything just donate them... So they don't go go waste. Somebody MUST like them.
  • I tried them this week too and didn't like them. The texture maybe me think of chewing on a worm, not that I have ever chewed one, just what I'd think it'd feel like

I was really hoping to like them!

I'll have to try the zucchini noodles.

Is spaghetti squash sweet? Or is it more like zucchini?

I haven't try spaghetti squash but zucchini noodles are tasteless. They taste like whatever you put on them.

    No one even wants them.

Man, I wish I lived near you. I love shirataki noodles (specifically the tofu ones)!
  • Wow I have to try out these noodles!! Does anyone know the exact nutritional content? Like how many carbs/calories per cup? Because I think it said 3g carbs a 'serving' online but whats a serving?

Oh and I just whipped up some Zucchini noodles (pesto) after reading this thread, thanks for the tip! It was pretty yumm and so low cal/carb! Nom nomm
  • Ooh okay sorry I'm answering my own question but I found the nutritional info and wow! 28 grams of this is 10 calories and 3g carbs (2g carbs dietary fiber) .. that sounds too good to be true! Well I suppose from majority of your responses it IS too good to be true because the taste is er, somewhat 'lacking'? Still, can't wait to give it a try!
