stimkovs and tdiprincess- You guys have come so far, it's only natural for things to slow down. It's actually good IMO that you're eating more than you were at loss levels. You're moving on to the maintenance phase so you should be eating more. And how great is it that you're still slowly losing too? That means you've built lean muscle mass and your metabolisms are fired up running on all cylinders. You're reaping the rewards of your increased fitness.
jigglefree- That is exciting. It's very validating to see proof that your hard work is paying off. Wear that dress with pride!
jmfan317-I am sorry to hear about your loss! It is so hard to lose loved ones. It's a real tribute to them when we take care of ourselves and live our own lives to the fullest. They would want that for us so keep taking care of yourself.
too big- Hope you are doing well. Update us when you can.
Sparklebe-Our bodies seem to have a mind of their own. We can't rush things and sometimes we need to step back from the scale. You can't live under constant pressure from the scale and really you shouldn't b/c they don't always tell the whole truth.
I weighed in this morning at 195.6, so I am just inside my goal. I set my goal for 1.25 pounds per week of this challenge and I have been working my butt off to lose it. I am glad I didn't set it any higher but I had great loss last challenge so I knew it was bound to slow down a bit. My average is actually 1 pound loss per week. That seems so slow to me but it's better than gaining and I seem to really be able to see on my body every pound that goes away now.
