Between http://www.skinnytaste.com, http://www.cookinglight.com, http://www.eatbetteramerica.com, and http://www.eatingwell.com, I make any and everything.

My favorites are soups, chili, enchiladas (layered or wrap style), and asian noodle bowls with tofu noodles.

Edy's makes 50 calorie per bar fruit/cream bars in orange, lime (yum, tastes like a frozen margarita) and raspberry. I like that they are only 50 cals but have no artificial sugars.

Fat free greek yogurt savory dip - made with Lawry's garlic salt, chopped fresh parsley, cucumber bits (no seeds but do use the skins), scallions and a pinch of red pepper flakes and a shake of dried dill--eaten with raw carrots, grape tomatoes, celery sticks, raw string beans, pepper strips. Yum.

Fresh Cuts or Top Crop brand mango salsa--its delicious with Garden of Eatin multi grain with flax tortilla chips.

Fat free greek yogurt, frozen blueberries/strawberries, a shake of cinnamon, a squirt of honey, topped with a mixture of a little Kashi 7 grain puffs and Kashi golean crunch.

I, too, like the Progresso soups. I don't worry so much about sodium although I know those soups have a lot....but for generally 200 calories per can, or even 260-280 a can, it makes a very filling and satisfying winter lunch. I especially enjoy the lentil, macaroni and bean, and split pea. Any chicken variety is pretty darned good too.

Bear Creek makes a dry soup mix for creamy potato that requires 8 cups of water and serves 8 - at 150 per serving -- I generally add more water tho because it gets pretty darned thick. It is another delicious and filling lunch.

Something we like for dinner is a salad of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, celery, onions, shredded carrots, radishes, add to that a few thinly sliced black olives and green olives, sliced jarred banana peppers or pepperoncini, and a few bread and butter pickles sliced into slivers, topped with some crumbled lean bacon (we like Thumann's when we can find it), with Good Seasons Italian fresh made dressing (we use less oil and add more water) and a handful of Chatham Village Herb Croutons (those are the ones we love) and its a surprisingly light delicious dinner. The worst bit of it is the bacon and croutons, and you use so little of either it isn't so bad. For some reason, all of those flavors combine together so deliciously. If we leave something out, or use a different crouton or dressing, it just is not the same!

Amy's brand makes some very good mexican dinners, with rice/beans and either a burrito or enchilada and they come in under 400 calories, are filling and hit the spot.

I also when I'm just feeding myself like to make 4 Celentano ravioli and instead of sauce use a can of stewed tomatoes. Delicious!

Pita Pizza for supper frequenlty. Super satisfying.

I use those Toufayan whole grain pitas, a tablespoon of tomato paste, 2 oz of whatever cheese I have on hand (i'm fond of goat cheese and parm for my pizzas), a handful of roasted broccoli, fresh garlic, and red bell peppers. It's delicious, filling, and it satisfies my cheese cravings.

About 375 calories...give or take 25 or so depending on which cheeses you use.

Just picked up some of the Bear Creek potato soup last night and will try it tomorrow. Sounds so yummy! I can't wait to make it!

How do you hummus eaters manage to stay within portion limits? I love hummus and pita chips but I just can't seem to manage to stay within my portion limits with it so I can't work it into my normal diet on a regular basis.

mmm speaking of hummus, garbanzo beans are amazing! You can add them to just about anything...I put them in spaghetti, on salads...yum.

I have string cheese every day...mostly because I love cheese and at 80 calories per stick its really easy to limit myself and keep track of.

Also walnuts. I buy the big bags from the baking aisle.

tuna's always great...and mixed with garbanzo beans, a bit of mustard, some fat free cream cheese, and walnuts it makes a darn good tuna salad. Put that on some whole wheat crackers or even by itself and you have a decent meal.

I pack it for my afternoon snack at work. I use a teeny little tupperware that is intended for sauce/salad dressing and I just put the container into my sandwich baggie with veggies. If you have none left, you can't overeat!

ArtyKay- I agree- garbanzos are amazing!! I was recently re-introduced to them. I love hummus, but for some reason garbanzos just never looked that appealing to me alone. They are indeed wonderful. Like little balls of hummus! Yum!
