Default PF Changs

I might be going to PF Changs this weeks for dinner and I need help.
Any suggestions as to what I should eat? I am having a good week and don't want to spoil my efforts.
Thanks.

You can get the calorie counts on the website... but beware, they all have lots of sodium, too!

Yeah, I know Buddha's Feast is supposed to be really pretty healthy, but I know the sodium there is super high!

http://www.pfchangs.com/menu/NutritionalInfo.aspx

There are a lot of options! I'd get the chicken lettuce wraps and probably call the actual serving about 600 cals.

Wait... since when is that their calorie counts? I remember checking their calories a couple of years ago and NOTHING was under 400 calories. There were a LOT of meals around 900, and even a couple over.

I find that very suspect. Did they redo their meals?

Yeah, compare their calories: http://www.pfchangs.com/menu/NutritionalInfo.aspx

PF Chang's Beef with Broccoli Lunch Bowl on White Rice = 440 calories

With the calories Men's Health gave just last year:
http://eatthis.menshealth.com/restaurants/pf-changs

PF Chang's Beef with Broccoli Lunch Bowl on White Rice = 790 calories

WTF?!

Looks like they are splitting it into servings now. They list the Beef with Broccoli Lunch Bowl on White Rice as 2 servings of 440 calories, so it's 880.

Vegetable Lo Mein is split into 3 servings of 420. Yikes!

I hate when they purposely mislead like that.

Tricky! I wonder if their dishes that are 3, 4, or even 5 servings come with a coordinating number of plates/bowls. Doubt it! Maybe it is not such a bad thing with restaurant portions being so big to show the stats for a normal serving size. I bet a lot of restaurants will be doing this as more states require calories to be printed on the menus.

Chinese food is horrible. I usually order the Buddah's feast with sauce on the side. Most everything else is so ridiculously high in cals and sodium it's not even worth it.
I love PF Changs thought, the atmosphere is just so nice.

Yep, I order Chinese every few weeks and for at least the past 10 years I only get steamed chicken and broccoli with brown sauce on the side, but every once in a while I get steamed chicken with mixed veggies or shrimp. I often don't eat the rice either - I watch my sodium, though, and that has a lot to do with it.
