You're fine! There are a lot of other participants in this thread and I don't think it was directed at any one of them, either. It's just basic, helpful information that the majority of our readers can use

have you tried spaghetti squash. I know it's not the same thing, but it is a bigger portion.

Esofia,

I’m sad to hear you have serious medical conditions. Please don't take the post the wrong way. I posted it for general information, I have trouble exercising and I'm not disabled in any way. I was shocked to read it and decided to post it. If it was directed at anyone, it was directed at me, to get moving. You sound like you're doing fine figuring out what's right for you. Better than most in a lot of ways. Everyone has to do what's right for them and put together a plan that fits their lifestyle and needs.

The article provided those carb guidelines based on a 2000 calorie diet. Since many on 3FC are restricting calories to below 2000, we are accustomed to seeing carb numbers much lower than that. It recommends 45-65% of carbs, so if someone is eating at 1400, they would consume between 150-220 (roughly, I guesstimated the math!) carbs a day. These are the numbers we are more used to seeing and this is why the numbers mentioned in the article looked high. Regardless, 45-65% of calories from carbs seems to be quite reasonable and generally accepted. Some need fewer, some need more. Different strokes for different folks
