Easter (good) Eggxamples Challenge
Whether you joined in the Valentine challenge or you missed it, there's another chance to join a challenge running up to easter. You may join straight after the end of the current challenge - entering a starting weight for 14th Feburary (or near to). You can join part way through provided you don't attempt to meet the full 12lbs (unless you are morbidly obese and just starting out) cos it's just not safe. If you join part way through the forumla is only going to work if you put your start weight in all of the weeks you have missed also, so you write in, say, 190lbs in start weight and then all the way across, 190, 190, 190, etc. so there are no gaps. I will try to keep popping in to keep it right.
We've got that bit longer to get to 12lbs so I am hoping more people will get a chance to achieve their "gold square" this time. If you are new to these challenges, just pop along to the link below, put in your name in the first column and your starting weight (as at 14th Feb or your nearest weigh-in) in the starting weight column. Weigh-in is officially a Monday, but you may weigh in on any day you choose and update in the column dated for that week. Please do not touch the blue column, it should be self-updating, post a help on this thread if yours doesn't seem to add up, but don't edit the blue column directly because it's a complex formula. Sure! I'm up a couple of pounds after a long weekend of birthdays and V-day celebrations :o Seems like this would be a great way to stay on track! I've got just about 10 more pounds to lose, and I'd love to see goal for Easter!

Thank you so much for starting this again! Your challenges are so motivational for me. I have lost 36lbs since the christmas challenge and that was with about 4 weeks off plan in between!! My Goal for this one is 30lbs. I know that is a lot, but I have a lot to lose, lol! I entered my weight from yesterday 254, but as of today I am down to 252.6, so I know I can do it! :)

I'm in but I usually aim for 1.5 - 2 pounds per week so that is a little more than 12 pounds I hope this is OK. I don't always make my weekly goal so chances are I may not go over 12 pounds.

I am in! I'm going to try to be the first one to goal again :) The said thing is it would be a lot harder if I wasn't so fat to start with!
If you like pizza, I posted a recipe on my blog today with a lot of pics. The crust is made of cauliflower and I LOOOOOVE this pizza. I could eat it every day. I'm going to add an update once a week. Since I weigh in on Saturdays, I figured I would give an update right after I weight in. I did great this week. I lost 2 1/2 lbs. I only went over my calories one day this week and even then I only went over by 200 calories which is still in my calorie range since I eat the low end of my calories. Today, I'm going out to lunch at Red Lobster with my brother, pregnant SIL and parents. I already know what I'm having - Maple Grilled Chicken and a cheese biscuit. I'm going to have a high calorie day and will get back on track tomorrow. I'm hoping to lose another 1-2 lbs this week.

Woot, first weigh-in!
I saw the scale go down this week, and today I clocked in at 139.4. I'm digging the downward trend, but I'm still a bit up from my previous low. I've recently started to cycle calories during the week, and I love it so far! I shoot for an average of 1,400 daily, and I really like the freedom of having one or two higher days a week. I plan to have those higher days on Friday and Saturday, which may explain why I'm still up a bit when I was seeing numbers in the solid 138's during the week. Oh well, though - all in due time! I've been training for a 5k, and have upped my mileage lately - up to two miles in 21 minutes! Now I've just gotta tack an extra 1.2 on there.... Have a great week everyone! |
I am only down 1/2 pound but hey, a 1/2 pound loss is better than none. Slow but steady that is my motto.:D

A day late for me, but I lost 1/2 lb! I'm sort of surprised because I started running again last week now that the weather is (a little) better and the exercise has made me absolutely ravenous. I feel like I'm eating my calories back (and then some). Congrats to everyone on a great first week!

It's been an off week for me, been really ill so been asked to try to eat more. I've only been able to keep down low fibre salty foods, so I'm up 1lb. Never mind, I'd been expecting it with everything that's gone on. Not sure if I am going to be able to really play this challenge, but I'll see how my check-ups go.

Similar to the valentines challenge, I've logged a gain this first week. 2lbs of fun over the weekend and of course TOM mean I'm the blue ribbon loser for now and not in the good way. I'm still in this to get my gold square, hopefully next week will look better.

I am two days late! Wowzers, but I am here and kicking. Same, 148lbs. I got to move it to lose it and I am not...=( There is always a next time (week)!

No change at all, WAAAHHHH. I was really hoping oh well maybe next week I'll lose extra. I have been having a flare up of my diverticliosis, and even though I am sticking to my calorie counting, I can't have any whole grains, or fiber until my flare is over.

lifeasme-eh not so much, but I did drop one pound!!
I have to admit I'm not really working that hard... One pound down, I reached an overall total loss of 10lbs! Finally at the 10lbs mark, lol it took a while. |
