Lori- Really, you look great. Your more toned than I am for sure! I did the same when I started maintaining, upped my calories & still kept losing for quite a while. When your body adjusts it won't happen anymore.

Nice & sunny here today, but still chilly. So i rode the exercise bike for 30min., then went for a 30min. walk when it warmed up a bit. Felt so good to be in the sun! Day 3 of eating clean, went over my calories, had 1370. Ate 100 calories more cause I had more fruit. Hungrier from the extra exercise I guess. Lost 1.3 lbs, hopefully I can keep going without wanting something sweet. There is nothing here, we ran out of hubby's junk food, yay!!!

Ok Suprise Of the day~The computer was wrong & the temp was getting higher We got clear up to 68 Here In OHIO TODAY ~OMG! I am so loving that! It was wonderful.

Northern~I never was small other than maybe when I was a young child....Even in the 4th grade I remember I weighed 170 or so. So this is all new territory for me.~Actually My doctor thinks my progress is great & I don't look sickly I actually still have a few fatty spots I could stand to lose~(WELL HIDDEN USUALLY OF COURSE IN PICS LOL) I think I am so frightened of the 120's because when I was big~My hubby would always say (When I was upset over my weight)~I Love you so much Lori ~'Even if u aint a 120 pound model ~u are beautiful to me. I know that sounds silly but~I think ~Not that the 120's would make me model worthy but that maybe weirdly I thought It would & he would think better of me & it was one of those dreamy things that U never think would ever come true~Now I am 1 pound from it!~(MY hubby loves me regardless he is a super guy ~MOST DAYS LOL) I am just use to being the big girl maybe & It is all a bit much to me...~Oh & the be half the size u was when u started was such a dreamy thing too~I need to just calm down & enjoy it ~I am healthy~ Just my anxiety disorder is freaking me out I think. ~Sorry for the ramble too LOL~I don't even know if I made since ~LMBO!

Rainbow~I know how it feels to be short I am the shortest in the family I grew up with~My daughter that will be 18 soon & she is taking after me ~she is About 5'3" & Me & her wear about the same sizes And we are about 15 pounds apart in weight~It really aint fair to her.~Yet I think short people are cute!(my daughter though a super pain in my butt here lately is adorable!)
Anyways~U will get to your goal Eventually & We will celebrate Like CRAZY! As for me I ate a stupid nutty butty bar today ~310 calories of pure evil Unhealthy delight~UGH~Why oh why So even though I am within calorie range I had kinda of an unhealthy day too~we all have our moments.~HUGS!

Well Off to Facebook for a few(got 3 kids starring me down for a turn on the computer ~LOL I gotta hurry~(Still got dial up in the country so we take turns On one computer thats runs super slow internet wise..~TTYL)

Decided to skip the morning snack and boy am I glad I did! Ended up getting a salad for lunch and I was amazed - AMAZED - to get home and find out it was 730 calories! I know what most of you are thinking, "Well duh, salads can be the highest calorie items on some menus." I am very aware of that but thought I chose wisely on this one. I think I still may have because I can get a pretty good estimate of the ingredient amounts and calories and they aren't even close to 730. But I'm logging it in as such anyway.

So it will be a light-ish dinner. Still trying to decide between 1 serving of edamame, 1 medium orange, 1/2 serving of baby carrots and 1/3 serving of honey mustard pretzels for 238 calories (3 over my daily allowance  :D ... maybe change it to 1/3 serving of pretzels minus 1 pretzel to take care of that ) or 1 serving of Rice Krispies, 1/2 medium banana, 2 ounces of strawberries and 3/4 cup of chocolate almond milk for 235 calories. Leaning toward the first since I'm craving both the edamame and orange but will decide after I get home from the gym. Which I'm going to head to right now!

I ate well and within my calorie range yesterday- I can't say yet for today because I've only had one meal thus far, but I'm sure I'll do fine. As for exercise, I did weight training yesterday and today, took all three of my dogs for walks totaling about 1:30:00 or 1:45:00. The weather was really nice today!

desiresdestiny 02-16-2011 09:44 PM

My goals are def.
Get under 150
Stay motivated
Stay on track
Gym 3X week

Spinach 02-16-2011 09:58 PM

Hey all! Went to the gym last night and got in another 1.5 mile run in, I'm ready to crank up to 1.75 next time (maybe tonight!?).
Treated myself to a Subway sandwich today (since they have the sale going on) and ate half then was sad to see how many calories it was when I logged it in to my program… I was prepared for the sodium hit, but not that many calories. I went ahead and ate the other half for dinner only to realize that I hadn't saved the .5 measurement :)! So instead of scraping by a little over I'm right on track for my calories for the day, leaving enough for a post run/bedtime snack cup of chocolate milk.

everyone's goals sound really sensible achievable!

amanda2181 ~ great job on recovering from your falter! It's so easy to let one meal throw you off completely

ma26 ~ my stall weight has been 159. I've been in the 160's since before long before the holidays. I ended up taking Dec and Jan off for maintenance just to rewire my brain and hopefully my body, but I am seriously done being here.

Lori ~ awesome job! thanks for doing this and keeping track of us all!

My goals ~
log my calories everyday
get back up to a 5k run (currently 1.5 miles)
get below 159 (currently 164)
planks! planks every single day and get to 3 repeats of the Holy Cow plank challenge

Lori259 02-16-2011 10:33 PM

Getting ready to go to bed & I am super chatty tonight~LOL!

Anyways just wanted to say good job to y'all & Thanks To spinach

Gotta go to a school meeting for my daughter tomorrow to do with an IEP Possibly~After she is nearly 18 & ready to quit~UGH~Wish us luck ~I have pushed for one (IEP) since grade school Now they have finally tested her & I think she failed it with flying colors which Would make some parents embarressed But I am so glad she did I was so sick Of them passing her with F's & d's for grades every year & overlooking her.~I would love for her to graduate & have the chance to learn as much as she can even if she is behind...We all wanna have our children succeed ~even if she just learns enough to get her basic Math needed for a simple job & to be able to pay bills I would be happy & even though at times she drives me bananas(as u most know)~I love her & I am proud of her regardless (USUALLY)lol.
Anyways I am chatty Lori tonight ~off to bed TTYL.(Just was great to get some more time in today to post a little more often)

amanda2181 02-17-2011 07:58 AM

Hi all. I am happy to report that yesterday went fairly well, both with the all day interview and the eating. No time to snack, and meals with strangers tend to be sensible (in terms of portion control, that is.) I have time before I need to head to the airport, so I am debating - walk at the gym, or explore downtown a little by foot. (I have a second choice, too. Healthy breakfast or blueberry pancakes. As much as I love pancakes, I have a feeling I would be heading in the wrong direction, and as such, I cannot tempt myself - even if I *tell* myself I won't eat the whole plate.)

Aside from that, you guys are all doing so wonderfully!
Spinach - with your running, are you aiming for a goal? Years ago when I got down in to the 160's (an yes, I let many bad decisions put all the weight plus some back on), I set goals of races - mostly 5K or 10K charity runs & walks. I'm thinking I might start that again this spring. It gives me something to look forward to when I am training and/or getting bored on the treadmill.

Manders- what program are you using to track calories at restaurants? A friend of mine mentioned one, but I haven't checked any of them out yet.

Thanks, chickadee. It's one day at a time. And 5 days traveling is tough. I'm headed home today, so only half as long as your upcoming trip. It seems to make a difference if the trip is for work or family, too. With work, I am by myself and have time to do things that I wouldn't have time to do if it were with my hubby and toddler. Even worse - if I am visiting my family or my in-laws, it seems that everything is about food. (I'll have that challenge in a few weeks, too.)

Lori259 02-17-2011 09:00 AM

OK Only on for a quick sec got to go to the school for my meeting about my daughter in a few...Just wanted to say ~OMG ~I Am in the FREAKING 120's & scared to death ~LMBO!129.8 this morning~OMG! (why do I have to have an anxiety disorder?) Anyways I am officially less than half my before size I lost half of me!~ Seems unreal~

Hello to ya Amanda~Have a safe trip Home

TTYL LATER~Off to start the car to be ready for this meeting ~WISH ME LUCK~MY NERVES ARE A MESS TODAY!
~HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SUPER DAY~

NorthernExposure 02-17-2011 09:13 AM

About 1550 calories yesterday, not bad.

Exercise hasn't been happening this week though. Our vehicles have all conspired to take a crap this week. Cracked windshield in the Jeep (covered by insurance, thankfully), weird computer sensor problem in the car (covered by the warranty, thankfully) and brakes and front end problems in the old plow truck (not covered by anything...$1500. Ouch!) All we've been doing after work is running around from shop to shop playing musical vehicles. By the time we get home and have dinner, it's late and I'm just too worn out to have any motivation for exercise. I *think* we're done with car problems now, so my plan is to at least do my 30 minute WATP tonight. Better than nothing, I guess!

Rainbow: I am also worried about WI tomorrow. My last WI was Monday (I usually WI on Fridays, but wanted a final WI for the V-Day challenge.) So with a short week and virtually no exercise, I'm not very optimistic about tomorrow! Thankfully we have each other to lean on even if the scale isn't coopertating!

Lori and Fruit: hasn't this warm up been great?? It was almost 60 here yestereday and a ton of snow has melted this week. Unfortunately our "heat wave" is coming to an end tonight, but I sure enjoyed it while it lasted.

Everyone else: Glad to see more people hopping on board with some great goals! Congrats to those of you who are staying OP with your calories and exercise. You are inspiring me to correct my rough start!!

natamars 02-17-2011 09:50 AM

Wed calories: 1615. Exercise: 30 min elliptical(200 cal)

Calories are creeping up again - trying to stay between 1200-1500, but closer to the lower end most days. Also did not get in as good a workout as I would have liked - DH had band practice so I had to cut it short. But I insisted in getting it in!

I'll be away with DH tomorrow, returning later Saturday. Will get right back on plan!

Northern, sorry about the cars. Doesn't everything seem to happen at once? My official weigh-in is tomorrow too - I'm not expecting much either!

Lori, like fruit I had the same issue when I lost weight in the past - my goal was 123 and I kept losing until I was 119, then it stopped. I was afraid to increase my calories. The WW staffer told me to stop on the way home from the meeting and get myself a bagel with cream cheese. It was delicious! You will be fine, you're keeping an eye on it.

spinach, I'm working on my running too! I'm signed up for a 5K in April. I'm up to 2.5 miles now, increasing .25 miles/week. Then I need to work on my speed - I am SLOW!

See everyone Saturday!

jigglefree 02-17-2011 09:59 AM

Ended the day at 1500 calories yesterday. I've been so tired the past couple days. I didn't get my workout done at lunch and was planning to do it at home but I was so tired that I got dinner served and ate then I was sleep. What could this mean??? I've been taking my vitamins and supplements so I'm not sure why...any suggestions? Anyone?

AmyKitKat 02-17-2011 10:28 AM
