I suggest you write done what you eat BEFORE you eat it. In other words plan your meals ahead of time and stick within your daily allowance . It takes me about 5 minutes to plan a day's menu. I usually do it the night before.

Hey there. Just to give another perspective. I started with FitDay and put in all of the information as requested to get started. I've only been at this for about 10 days, but I've lost a total of about 10 pounds (and that's with lots of cheats and stuff because I was home with family), and have seen most of that weight loss in the last about 5 days.

I go with the number of calories they give me. I want to lose approximately 1-2 pounds a week and they say that to do that, I need to withhold 980 from what I burn. It estimated what I burn based on my lifestyle and weight.

It works for me so far, so I recommend it. I checked with two or three other sites and all gave me approximately the same answer - I should be eating around 2300 calories a day. Granted, I weigh a bit more than you do, too.
