I was down 2-3lbs at the beginning of the weekend, but after indulging in some salt-laden food yesterday, I think I'm clinging to some water weight. I'm still down 1lb though and hopefully I'll shed that water by the next weigh in:)

I just signed up hope that was okay! I've been off boards for 6 months dealing with issues, and of course during that time my weight ballooned up again. I'm officially starting back today with CC and thought a challenge would be just what I needed. I hope to shed the 60 pounds by next June, so I have my work cut out for me!
I've planned all my meals for the day so we'll see how day one goes! Good luck to you all. |
I'm up 2 lbs after staying the same weight for 30 days. Hope this week goes better - I want to be out of the the 240's for Christmas!

I would love to join too! I just found this website last week but didnt see this challenge. I just started keeping track and my goal is 12lbs by the end of the year so this is perfect for me!
I will add my stats in, I lost 1.8 lbs last week, slow but at least its in the right direction. I have my first meeting with my personal trainer today I am excited! |

Hi everyone! Looks like there has been some great success so far! Congrats to all.
I lost one pound. This week was TOM, which usually messes with the scale for me. I've been doing C25k for the past few weeks and I'm really trying to focus on inches as well as the scale bc I've definitely gained more muscle from running. Really hoping to get back into the 130s though. Off to the gym tonight with new running shoes! Yippeeee!! :) |
Wow you guys are doing great! I can't believe I had to post a 2 pound gain as soon as I joined haha... silly water retention! Oh well, for sure I'll be down next week!!

Thanks for starting this challenge! Though I'm launching late, I'm ready for it and will sign up :^: Not even sure of my current weight as my eating has been way out of the park. (I'll confirm my weight later today), and suspect I've gained at least 20 pounds back in the last few months after reaching goal (130) last year.
It would be great to start the New Year even 10 pounds lighter :carrot: Jean |

I've had a tiny reshuffle of the page so peopel who haven't posted an 8/11 weigh-in are at the bottom, that's just so I could put in another formula bar, and can I say we have lost 41lbs between us! Nearly time for the next weigh-in day. *trembles*

It's the 22nd here so I just posted my weigh-in - I think? Not sure if it worked properly because the number for pounds lost didn't change. Hrm.

I was down to 163 yesterday! :( but I'm back up at 164 today...oh well I meet with my personal trainer tonight so that should be back on the right track. Hope everyone has a great week!

Skigirl, I was lower all weekend then today I go up over a pound and a half..lol I did have a lot of sodium yesterday, and some stress and am feeling VERY bloated today.. so I'm sure it will go away in a day or so.. but it is what it is.
I twisted my knee on Friday so I didn't really get to exercise all weekend, which sucks. I did some small things.. walked around the mall and played bowling on Wii.. better than nothing I guess. |
I am down 1.5lbs. Since i just started 2weeks ago and lost 8 the first week, i was hoping for a bit more. But all week when id peek at the scale it was never down, not until this morning! So when i saw that it finally moved today, i was relieved! I stayed on plan all week. Really nervous about this week. We will be staying with family wed - sunday. Ugh! But i will do my best. I will have to bring my will power, and my own veggies, my mom leaves bowls of candy around!

I am down 4.2 on the week. But am up .4 from yesterday. TOM is almost here so any loss in the next week would be more than welcomed. However, I just hope to maintain.

The spreadsheet should now update your weight loss immediately that you put it in even if you are the first person to input on a new week. Please let me know if it starts behaving oddly, the formula is now ridiculously complicated but should do what we want it to do, and a reminder to please never touch the blue column directly, I will cry!

On a plus point: I went to the doctors today to get a huge prescription for my knee for traveling and she never mentioned one thing about my weight. For the first time ever :D |

I have been on my scales 3 times, moved them around the floor in case there's a mistake since I was shooting for 2lbs this week and thought I would struggle to make that. And this morning I get 180.5!!
Even better, if I can shift just one more lb next week this is my last "obese" weight before I enter the 25-30s BMI. Chuffed! |

Weigh day! Yay! I'm down 1/2lb and thrilled with it! 10 lbs down on this challenge! I was off plan for 3 1/2 days and scared! But, looking back, i did ok with eating. I normally would have eaten much more. I did eat lots of high calorie foods, but in moderation! That is what i need to do for the rest of my life!

I'm down 2.6 this week from last. I am up 1.8 from yesterday.. and KNOW it's from some high sodium choices yesterday and will whoosh away in a day or so. Sundays are usually a day that I allow myself to endulge in things a little more. They are in my calorie limit but are usually more of the not so great for you choices... oh well. As long as the scale moves down for the most part I'm happy ;) |
I was doing so well, I came home from Thanksgiving down to 162.5 yesterday, that would be 1.5 from last week! Then this morning I am back up to 164.2. I am not offically weighing in until tomorrow hoping today was a fluke.
I worked out 5 times last week and ate so well over thanksgiving something funky must be going on, hopefully tomorrow will be different! Congrats to all of you who are doing so well! |

I've only lost 1lb this week... which I deserve. I went on a bit of an alcohol/crisps bender this weekend, which my body is still trying to rehydrate from, so I'm lucky I got 175lbs this week. :( |
I gained weight this week :( I was off plan for about 4 days before/during/after Thanksgiving. I kept saying I'd get back on plan "tomorrow", which never came until Sunday. argh. Not sure if I'll make the 12 lbs down now, but I've been back on plan since Sunday, and have hit the gym hardcore every day so far, and my eating has been on. At least I'm still trying. Good job everyone else!!
