Talking CC Day After Halloween Challenge(Nov. 1st)

CC DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE~ November 1st

--------------------------------------------------------------------

TO THE DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN (NOVEMBER 1st) Challenge!

Even if your not a calorie counter Your more than welcome to join

Can u believe It's time for a new Calorie Counters' Holiday Challenge?

Everybody did great on the Columbus DAY CHALLENGE!!!!
Some of us met our goals, some of us only got partway there, some went the wrong direction, but we all put in a great effort, learned some lessons, made new friends, and supported each other... and that's what these challenges are for. Now, we're ready to set our sights on a new challenge, new goals, and the next 3 weeks of this journey!

Here's how it works... Set a goal or goals that you would like to reach before November 1st (the day after Halloween) . Your goals can be anything: pounds you want to lose, a smaller clothing size or outfit you'd like to fit into, sports or fitness achievements, or just a goal of keeping food and exercise on track. Whatever gets you excited about working your plan over the next few weeks, is the right goal for this challenge. You can set as many or as few goals as you like.

All are welcome! If you're not sure what your goal will be yet, but would like to join up and find some weight loss buddies, get and give support, please jump in, and you can post a goal later, when you think of something. Our main purpose is to motivate each other to keep the food on plan, keep exercising, keep getting leaner, more fit, and healthy. REMEMBER Even if your not a calorie counter Your more than welcome to join! The more the merrier!

I may not be able to check in daily,Since I am a mom of 3~ But I will do my best too. HAVE A GREAT CHALLENGE EVERYONE

TO EVERYONE

TO EVERYONE

Due to My visit to the dentist today & the pain I am feeling since The numbess is going away I will log back on at a later time with my goals for the challenge~HOPE EVERYONE HAS A BLESSED DAY! (AT LEAST IF ALL GOES WELL THOSE WAS MY LAST FILLINGS TODAY! WOOT WOOT!)

Edited to add goals:

Ok to continue to keep my calories higher than I have been To at least 1700 a day to 1800 Since I am trying to maintain & just tone. I have been being still 1400 to 1600 at the most.I need to up them Been on the low amount so long I get full easy.

To exercise everyday My body & time will allow (at least 6 days a week) I love to exercise~I feel lost if I don't anymore.~I have actually changed me into an exerciser ~LOL~Was a couch potato

To eat as healthy as possible

To Bring my candy canes down to 1 a day~Been wanting to many of them a day.(Not the greatest thing for a snack~but 1 a day will be ok)

To measure my best fitting jeans in 3 weeks to see how many inches i lost.
I measured the waist on the ones I had on today ~with no stretch to them...And they was 28 to 29 ish ~kinda in between. I was I think a 44 or larger waist at start! OMG ~unbelieveable!(Just shows anything is possible)
I was using a measuring tape from the hubby's tools I do not have a material one so I just measured my jeans from side to side at top & then x's it by 2.~hope that is acurate.~(I know I snuck & tried on my hubbys jeans last month & he wears a 30 waist and they fit fine actually a little loose in the butt area & they are levis 505 Redtab straight leg regular fit jeans..But the 34 length was ridiculously to long!)Now there getting to big (yes I snuck them on again~LOL! waist is getting to big & the butt is getting really saggy)

& LAST BUT NOT LEAST.... to make these 3 weeks 3 great ones!

HAVE A SUPER CHALLENGE EVERYONE!

I know I missed a couple of challenges, but I had surgery six weeks ago (all fine!) and couldn't do anything related to weight loss until now. I've been cleared for gentle workouts so I feel like I can get back on track.

Goals for this challenge - 5lbs gone, 4x workouts per week, no Halloween candy binges (I don't have kids and don't set up for trick or treaters so this should NOT be a challenge!).

Oh man, I would love to be 140 by Halloween. I have 3 weeks, and only need to lose 4 lbs to get there so this should be reasonable. But...I also have a vacation starting next week, so not sure how well I am going to be sticking to my diet while out of town. I am really only hoping I don't gain during that time.

I'm in! I'm new here, and this will be my first challenge on this board, which I'm really excited about. I do well on challenges.

My goal is to eat between 1300-1400 calories a day and exercise for at least 25 minutes a day/5 days a week.

I've actually made a promise to my two teenagers that I have to stick to the above plan, with few holiday breaks (Halloween is not one of them), or I owe each of them $50. Talk about motivation to stay on plan. lol

I'm hoping to be in a size 10 and fit perfectly in my size 12, which run like a 10, Lucky Brand Jeans. I know I'll have to get under 170 to fit in them, so that is what I'm aiming for.

Good luck to all! Let's scare those pounds and inches right off of us!!!

EEeep. Well I was about 1.5 kg/3.3pounds off my weight goal for the Columbus Day Challenge. I got the other part (calories in) pretty much dead on.

So for this goal, not that far away, I'm going to aim to weigh 73kg. I am currently about 75.5, so that's a 2.5kg/5.5pound loss. I keep making my goals high because I'm working towards getting there and even if I don't quite make it, at least I'm aiming for something!

For a calorie goal, between now and then I'm going to try to eat no more than 1600 on days I exercise (with actual goal being around 1550) and no more than 1500 on days I don't exercise. I'm not yet sure if I should be dropping my calorie levels too much.

I'm also going to try to make sure I get the proper amount of sleep and get in exercise at least 4 days per week, for at least 20 minutes. And if it's only 20 minutes it has to be intense.

My last goal is to try to get my depression under control. Oh and to find some new basic clothes that fit as I'm now struggling with finding things to wear!

Good luck ladies!!

Yay my first CC challenge, well it's simple I want to weight 235 lbs by November 1st; I currently weight around 243 so that's 8 lbs; Yea it's very ambitious, but my mama always says, reach for the stars so at least you'll land on a cloud!. As far as calorie counting, I zig zag so my weekly balance is around 10,100 and I am in a tortous week-long bootcamp and if I like it (and I'm liking it already) I may go ahead and pay the eeek! $175 for a month-long session (IDK, I technically can have the money, and I really like how spent I am after, but that is a lot of money). So yea, there's that.

Ok, I haven't done a challange on the CC board before, but I'd like to. I'm trying to maintain and get myself out of a losing mindset. So, I'd like to maintain my weight, and eat +/- 1400 per day.

I'd also like to not sneak any little crackers or cookies (bite size things are my downfall), so that's my other goal. And, to check in at least every other day on this to keep myself accountable.

Yay! Thanks all!

I'm shooting for ONEderland!

That's about 6 lbs in 3 weeks with a few challenging events in there...4-day family weekend 21st-24th, my birthday on the 27th and our Halloween party on the 30th. Ouch! But I'm going to go for it...I've wanted this for a LONG time!

If I don't make it by the 1st, I hope to make it by the 5th, as that's the 10 month "anniversary" of the start of my weight loss journey! 75 lbs in 10 months isn't too shabby

Can't wait to get started! Good luck, all.

Hi all! Welcome to the newbies!

My goals are- to maintain around 106lbs.
brisk walk every day at least 40 min. a day
Start running again( stopped because of my knee)
keep calories at 1100-1600
stay in control & not binge
Just eat til I'm full, then stop
allow snacks that I am craving, to avoid a binge

A little different w/ my goals this time, just trying to find what works to maintain. Today was one of those days I craved sweets. We toasted marshmallows tonight outside & had some candy. I went over my calories, but did not overeat, had 2400 cal. The calories add up too fast when your eating hershey kisses & marshmallows. I seem to be maintaining in the 106lb. range for 3 days now. I hope the candy didn't do too much damage. Good luck to all!
