Thanks everyone for your prayers & to those with nice compliments previous days About my dad , brother & ,ect...HUgs to all. In ahurry But quick explanation to my probs~My daughter had to be removed from school she ~went with a new boy in the school for about 4 days or so & He Threatened at 12:30 or so at night when She was in bed to kill her....BY text. Anyways it was very psyco & I never told her what he said But it scared the crap outta me & my hubby for her life ~it was wrote really creapy ~not just normal kid texting & goofing off Or fighting...We had to call the law ~They just warned him so far no him or text have shown up.~he was never here but she told him where we lived so we have been on edge.~Ya never know now days. Anyways~were moving Almost 99% sure we are to the next town over ~My husbands Rheumatoid Arthrits is getting worse & he feels he can't keep up with the yard & Upkeep here next year & the realtor we bought this house from has a nicer one on a double lot in a super area & it will be available this week...Which Is on flat land~That if all else fails me & the kids can tend to if the hubby gets worse and is unable too.Plus it will get us away from psyco ex-boyfriend. ~UGHHHHH Been a rough last few days But God Has held me strong through it all.Thanks for the prayers & Pray all goes well if we move. Were just trading homes and will still be on same payment amount & same amount of years as we are on now (approx 15 yrs. left) Anyways~Nicer home just less land~And nicer location.~Little Scared though I have always lived around here but it's just a 25 minute drive back to here...LOL Just nervous~I have only seen the outside so far & Get to look at the inside this week ~I hear it super nice ~& my realtor is very honest~& lives in a mansion so if he thinks it's nice it must be..cause he told us all the faults with this one before we bought it & said that one was in great shape & ~it has a full front porch covered & a 2 car garage also...Electric heat also which is easier for me..We have propane now...Keep me in your prayers (cause I opened my mouth & told my brother who is trying to snatch it from me~WHAT AN A$$) the realtor told me it was being held for us though as long as we wanted it. ~I am just freaking out proboly.~sorry for typing errors & blabbing on & on ~LIKE I SAID LONG LAST FEW DAYS! ~TTYL WILL POST AGAIN SOON!

Oh Lori, I'm not the praying type, but I am doing my equivalent of praying for you. I hope you get the house, it sounds like a great opportunity and a great new change for all of you. I hope the situation with the psycho ex doesn't bring you or your family any more trouble. I know I'm fairly new to being active in the calorie counters area here, but I feel like from what I've read and from what you say, you are such a lovely woman and very much deserving of less stress in your life.

Jiggle- Thanks! great job at the Buffet, I go to one every two weeks, I know how hard it is.
I went to the Japanese buffet again today, did good again. Had all salad & fruit for a total of 250 cal. That's it! So, my total for today was 1355cal. I was still in my range for maintaining. It was easy today though, I haven't craved any junk food or my homemade Peanut Butter for 4 days. So, I didn't even eat any treats for that long. That's strange for me, the 4th day is usually tough. Maybe it's going to be a new good habit! |
Rainbow - Yes I will let you know. I rent DVD's from blockbuster thru the mail and they have added video games to the list... Can't wait to try a new work out game. I've bought a few they were not worth buying. I do like the wii fit game and the biggest loser.. Look into buying the biggest loser game ..it kicks butt.. The warm up had me sore the next day the first time I did it... you can just work out or do games with other players.. I heard Just dance was fun and a workout at the same time although not sold as a work out game... I'm getting that for my daughters b-day in November so I'll let you know if it lives up to its reviews.
Jigglefree- great job at the buffet.. I try really hard going in then end up at the desserts saying back on track tomorrow :lol: I think I will set it higher.. Can't wait to be out of the 220's so I will bump it up so I'm reaching for the new decade :D fruitlady- Another way to go on the buffet... stay strong ladies :) Lori Glad your able to move so quicky ... lucky you. It will be a good change for all of you... nicer house too can't beat that :hug: Had a wonderful night with my family :D There was cake and ice cream and I stayed away... I ate veggies ..there was a main dish of chicken with gravy and rice I took it to be nice because it was served to me but only ate a little of the chicken .. My only cheat was a glass of sweet tea with real sugar ;) What can I say I'm a southern girl! My grandmother leaves thursday :( I'm going to miss her so much.. Shes 90 soon to be 91 and still dragging my mom around like she was the younger one :lol: Going back up tomorrow to spend more time with her and my uncle.. Thinking of letting my daughter play hookie from school Wednesday since I'm not sure when she will see her great grandmother again :( |

Good morning everyone! Hope y'all made it through the weekend on plan. I did NOT. It seems that the weekends are pretty much catastrophic for me so I really need to reign it in.
The Good I got my three workouts in last week! I haven't worked out in over a year so this was huge for me! I am also doing really well on my water challenge. The Bad We went out to eat way too many times this weekend and it was a personal goal to eat out only once a week. The Ugly I went wayyyyy over my calories yesterday, by about 1200 calories. The scale is rewarding me with a 6 pound gain overnight. I know it's water, but, nothing fits today because I am so bloated. I react so badly to sodium. My husband and I are making a commitment to not eat out for the rest of the month. Too many calories, sodium and $$. Lori - Good on you for taking immediate action with your daughters crazy ex. What a scary situation! I will be crossing my fingers for you that the house transition is a smooth one. I'm off to fitday to put calories in for the day. I'm shooting for 1200 all week and making sure I'm carefully watching the sodium intake! |
Back from my afternoon workout and I feel really good. I'm doing really well staying within my calorie budget.
YAYA - PLAN YOUR WEEKENDS BEFORE THEY ARRIVE!! It will save you a lot of disappointment. The weekends that go bad are the weekends that I haven't planned or don't do things according to plan. It'll be fine. Lori - Hope things are well with you today. When you go look at the other place...take pictures!!! I think change is good especially when you need some newness!! |

yaya I agree with jiggle plan your weekend ahead of time~ By the way jigglefree as long as I remember my camera I will take tons of pics the day we got to see the inside of it...Should be within next day or 2~I am growing impatient though ~I am over anxious~I think lol! HUgs to all New weight again today LOL~ 144.4~I hope 4 is my lucky number! & I hope to see those 130's soon but doubtful ~my period is on its way I am bloating and getting evil so....It is near. I decided against taking the birth control pills I was prescribed last month Felt the risks was cons was higher than the pros on it ~I am gonna go for a second opinion...In another town to doctors I have never seen before. I really thought I'd posted last night but I must be delusional hah!
Made a new achievement for myself after work yesterday, feeling very puffed up and proud of myself! I went OUTSIDE for my very first jog/walk in the actual outdoors on the actual sidewalk! I know, people do it all the time, but I've been terrified of jogging/walking around my neighbourhood just because I'm worried about other people seeing me and what they will think. So it's a huge achievement for me and it was one of my goals that I have now met! It wasn't easy and I can't jog for longer than 3 or 4 minutes at a time before slowing to a fast walk (then I repeat) but it felt good! I have sore muscles today and I'm looking forward to hopefully going out again tonight after work! I am planning some movie snacks in my head to work into my calories today because my boyfriend and I are finally going to go see Inception. I think I'll take one of my portion controlled bags of popcorn and if the calories allow, might have some icecream there. Not sure! Weighing in tomorrow most likely! Wish me luck! |

Hello all, well I weighed in today and did ok during week 1. Even though I ate a ton I lost 2 lbs. I think the more water and more exercise helped to give me the push. However I am major PMSing right now and tonight I ate a big bowl of popcorn and spaghetti and a piece a chicken. I will just get up tomorrow and try again.
@yaya, weekends can be tough it seems like the advise is planning is good. Great job on the working out. @rainbow, I read your post about feeling funny working out outside. Great job! I know no one is looking twice. Great job facing the fear. @fruitlady, excellent job with the cals and cravings, hopefully I get there! |
Hi! Well I'm not sure the last time I posted. Yesterday I was so busy I'm not sure. So yesterday calories was 1035. Monday came to 641. Today at the gym I walk 30 minutes in the water and I did 1 hr. of water arobics and then after class i swim 12 laps. My goal is to swim 18 by friday. Also I went to TOPS tonight and the scales was very to me I weigh 259 a lost of 2 1/2 lbs. good night all :wave: :dust:

I was pretty good over the weekend, saturday my cals were right on track and sunday i did allow a treat meal but stayed under my maintence calories. yesterday was on track w/calories and i also got in a good workout, full body free weights workout dvd + 30minute dog walk. Today is some higher intensity cardio + core work, and if im feeling ok i will do some yoga after that!:) I will try and bbl with some personals, have a good day everybody:) |
YaYa: don't feel bad, I ate too much cake on DH's b-day Friday night. I did plan for a bit of a cheat (I think I did pretty good at dinner...had the smallest, leanest steak they had, veggie rice pilaf and a little bread), but I really didn't need THAT big of a piece. But one of the most important things I've learned is one meal or one day (or even a few days) are just that. Singluar events that don't have to impact your whole entire plan!
I haven't weighed in in a while and it's hard to stay on track. Was supposed to WI Friday, but TOM came, so waiting until this Friday...will have been over two weeks when I finally WI. I'm a little nervous that I haven't lost anything since Labor Day. I guess we will see. TODAY is when I get back on my exercise plan. No more procrastinating!!! My short term goal is to do at least 30 minutes for the next 5 days. Happy Tuesday, everyone! |
