The last few days....

  • ....I have hardly been hungry. I was really busy over the 3 day weekend installing our new faux wood floors. My body still kind of hurts today. I was sure to keep drinking a lot of water, but I had to make myself eat. Today I am only at about 1000 calories and I am not hungry.

Part of it might be a little depression as my oldest son moved out to his own apartment today I miss him and of course I worry about him. Tomorrow is weigh day. I am praying for a good loss and hoping it cheers me up.
  • Awww, big hugs about your son leaving the nest I would just be sure not to make vlc an everyday or often thing, in my opinion.

Good luck with your weigh in
  • I can't imagine my oldest moving out. Of course your oldest movie out just means you as a mom have done your job well. Your child has grown up into an adult who no longer has to be supported. He can stand on his own two feet now.
  • As a mother of two grown sons, I can relate. But believe me, they will come back!!.... when they need a good hot meal, clean clothes, or they start missing you just as much as you miss him!
  • awwwww ((hugs)) you'll bounce back. Tomorrow is a new day.
  • Thanks everyone. I am proud of my son that he has the confidence to venture out on his own, but my heart hurts that he isn't here. I still have his 14 yo and 6 yo brothers at home. I am sad that I have been fat most of their lives. When my oldest was little I was in good shape, but I worked full time, he was in daycare and I once I became a SAHM I started to gain the weight. I have NEVER been on a bike ride with my oldest and I am sad. The years fly by so fast and my 14 yo will be off to college before I know it. I want this weight off so I can make some memories with the two I have at home. Not that we don't have fun memories yet, but a bike ride or hike would be cool!

All that said, I lost 4 pounds this week! I weighed in this morning at 241..... WOOT!!
  • Great Job on the loss!!!! You will get there before you know it.
awwww (((hugs))) Maybe at some point you can have a Saturday afternoon with your oldest and go for a bike ride.
