Thumbs up Fish!

Hello fellow calorie counters I'm not sure if you can get these in the US but here in the UK I found some wonderful low-calorie boil-in-a-bag cod pieces They are only 102-104 calories a serving and come with with either butter or parsley sauces (all included in the 102-104 calories). They're so simple, you just pop the bag in boiling water/a steamer for about 15 mins along with some veggies like broccoli, carrots etc then, when it's all done you just cut open the bag and you have your fish AND lots of yummy sauce!

If you have broccoli, carrots, potatoes and the fish, the whole meal only comes to approximately 350-400 cals (obviously depending on how much you have )

I just thought this was a lovely and quite filling meal that would be useful for people to know about.

The fish is a brand called "Youngs", but I think you can get others which are similar also

Happy calorie counting!

That does sound good!! I haven't seen anything like that over here, but I sure hope I do sometime soon.

Are these fresh or frozen? I'm going to take a look around next time I'm in the grocery store.

I think they are found in/near the frozen section because you can freeze them, they are generally where you will find things like fries and fish fingers (however these are not junk food!, lol!)
