:cheer3::cheer3::cheer2::cheer2:Alright ladies lets get these bodies moving and fuel them with what they need to be in tip top shape!!
:exercise::running::swim::lifter::ebike: What's your pleasure?? Get it in!! We are goal oriented and we will get to our goals this challenge!!

I did my 30 Day Shred workout this morning and got my clothes for my gym workout. I will go at lunch or after work. I've gotten a liter of water in already and working on the second. Yesterday I did three liters. YAY ME!! I went to the gym after work but I didn't get my 30DS in before bed.
The rain is gone and nothing will stop my progress anymore...hopefully. It's supposed to rain again this weekend.
Beachlover - Brace yourself for the rain. If is anything close to what we had you need a boat.
Lori - I really am happy that you are getting to spend time outdoors. Hope you got some good rest as I notice you were up late.
Misspriss - I'm proud of you for not eating the cake. The cookie monster has brought cookies in everyday since the first time I told you all about them. Well I have not a single cookie or crumb. I walk past them like they are trash...hey wait a minute, they are trash.
Jynx - :welcome3: have fun with this challenge.
Jae - You will make it to that size 12 doing a boot camp workout!!
Farn - Hope your finals are going well this week. Make sure you get plenty of rest.

Well I'm off to tackle some work for today, I have a desk full of it. Holla at ya'll later.

MAKE TODAY A GREAT DAY YOUR WAY!!

susieyarb 05-04-2010 10:54 AM

Hey y'all, sorry I've MIA the last few days.

Did my monthly measurements this morning, I was hoping for more, it FEELS like it should have been more - but oh well. I lost 4.5 inches total this past month (waist, hips, bra band, breast, arm, calf, neck, thighs).

Do you all who've lost larger amounts find that the loss is smaller each time as you get smaller??

I'm sooo ready to make my 50 pounds lost mark.

Since I've been on TOM I've only been checking my weight on the schizo bathroom scale and it's been all over the place - all up! From .5 to 4 pounds! So I haven't gotten on the Wii Fit. I don't want it to permenantly stamp in a higher weight! Is that sad and pathetic of me? I want to wait till that bathroom scale goes lower than it was on my last official weigh in before I get back on the Wii.

I've been totally OP with calories and exercise all weekend and yesterday. So that scale MUST move down soon!

I'm happy to see so many new challenge buddies! It's also good to see many from the old challenge that are re-invigorated!

Let's all keep up our good work and make these Memorial Day goals!! I for one may FAINT when I see the 180's!! For some weird reason, 8 has been my favorite number for many years. So my goal of 188 feels comfy!

Ok, I've got a toddler crawling all over me, gotta go!

Back from my long weekend in Chicago. I haven't done any exercise since Thursday and I'm jonesing for it! Gonna get on the treadmill again tomorrow morning. I can still get my 3x work out this week done, so that's good.

I'm pleased with the fact that the scale only had me up .5 pounds from Friday while I was in Chicago for the past 3 days:
- I didn't count calories, but made good choices regardless.
- I drank plenty of water.
- I consumed some rum and diet dr pepper goodness.
- Had no exercise.
- TOM started Sunday.

We'll see what the scale says after TOM is gone ;)

farn00a57 05-04-2010 12:37 PM

well wtf.....not a good way to start a post, so you all know where this going! haha, my weight went up again!! I exercised, stayed OP, even stayed under calorie range, and drank way too much water yesterday! how could I not have lost?!!!! I knew my body hated me, but I didn't know this much!!!

lori: so excited that you got new flowers!! yaay! i think i'm going to be taking a trip to Bachman's to get some flowers for my mama on mother's day!! :)

misspriss: i hope to god that's what it is!!! this is driving me nuts!!!!!

jiggle: I want to thank you for your continued motivation, everyday...without ya I'm pretty sure I'd given up by now!!

aluxa: haha yes lets blame the weather again!!! :) hahaha

susieyarb: congrats on those losses!!!! that's awesome!!!

well i'm off for the day. I have a huge debate in spanish tonight that I'm not at all excited for. ugh.

Sorry this is gonna be short, but I gotta do 30DS before work AND have to leave early because the nearly 20 inches of rain that Nashville got over the weekend has flooded many of the roadways I take to work! So we have to go almost 20miles north out of our way to get down to Nashville...

If you all haven't seen it on your local news, Nashville suffered SEVERE flooding this past weekend...and then it got worse yesterday when they released some Dams upstream...and it's taken many ppl victim, so unfortunately, I've been very busy at work :( It flooded in places that have NEVER EVER flooded before...and I guess ppl didn't think it would get bad and didn't leave their homes, then they got trapped...it's soo sad!!! or you have the idiots (I know, harsh, but it's true) who try to cross water over the road and either get stuck & get out then washed away OR their car gets swooshed away!!! Please keep the affected families of Middle TN in you're thoughts and prayers as they have lost alot, property & loved ones :(

My weight is up today, but I ate pizza yesterday AND barely 1liter of water! When I usually have 4-5 liters! AND TOM should be here any day...so I'm not worried about it...I'm still seeing results in my dress pants for work...I just bought size 14 black pants like a month ago, and 2 pairs don't have belt loops...well I wore a pair yesterday and they drove me nuts!! having to keep pulling them up!!! but i guess it's a good thing! haha I"m gonna do my measurements on Thursday so that I'll have completed Level 1 of 30DS!!

WELCOME to all the NEWBIES!!! You're gonna love this challenge!!

And everyone else, Keep on Keepin' On!! You all rock!! I'll try to respond to everyone individually when I have more time (but probably won't have it at work!)

aluxa 05-04-2010 01:20 PM

Misspriss: I feel that the little plateau was my fault and not my body reaction to a routine. Last week I was unable to move as always because of back problems. In addition, I cut healthy food in order to let some not so healthy food to fit my calorie range. I learnt that it is a NO NO. I have increased my veggies and fruit intake and I started to lose weight again. Anyway, my TOM is around the corner and on the previous and TOM weeks I lose a lot of less.

ShylahEQ: :congrat: because you did it great in Chicago.

Farn: your body does not hate you but it is confused by all the stress from last weeks of college!

KDM: I’m so sorry for Nashville situation. I visited it a few years ago and it is a beautiful city, with amazing people!!!

I do not understand my body because from being stuck at 167.4 for more than a week, now I’m at 166. I hope to stay loosing and I wish to be at 165 by the weekend.
Sw: 167.4
Cw: 166.0
Gw1: 165 (1 to go)
Gw2: 160 (6 to go)
WL: 1.4

Fitin10 05-04-2010 07:03 PM

Week is going good so far, 3 hours of intense excercise, burned 500+ cal each time, eating in range and getting the water in. Hopefully Thursday will bring a great number!

Susieyarb - 4.5" is great, good for you!

jigglefree 05-05-2010 09:21 AM

I'm checking in for the morning. I did my 30 Day Shred before work. I have had a liter of water so far. Yesterday I finished the day at a little over 3 liters. Been eating on plan. I figure if I get in all the water it will help my body decrease. I packed my food for the day but I feel like I'm missing something. I will find out at the end of the day what's missing. I've been trying to wait until Saturday to try on my TSPs and it's hard. It's better if I wait and see the progress. I have been staying out of the closet until it's time to dress for work. I expect to see some progress this weekend. I will be going to the gym at lunch.
Fit-What kind of workout are you doing that you burn 500 cals? I need that in my life.
Lori - It sounds like you are really enjoying your flowers and plants. Have fun girl!!
Aluxa - I know you are probably frustrated with your body but I'm glad you posted it because it helps me keep my focus and get discouraged when it seems like I'm not moving.!!:thanks:
Susie - How's the baby. I love what he said. I feel so encouraged...LOL!! I know you are measuring by the scale mostly but I love to see those inches fall off because it says my clothing size will be shrinking!!
KDM - I'm coming to join you in those 4-5 liters one day!! I saw some pictures from Nashville and it looks like you all were hit harder than we were. I did pray for the people that suffered loss. How are you???
Farn - Girl I'm motivating myself when I try to motivate you all because some days are not as easy as other. You all have been the difference between me quitting and I so appreciate it.
Shyla - I figure when you have a weekend like you did, just hop back on plan and the damage will be minimal. Hope you enjoyed it all!!

:cheer2::cheer3::cheer2::cheer3: Let's make today a great day. Stick to your plans no matter what comes your way. Your body will appreciate it!! We can do this!! Oh yea...no matter what happened before now, have fun today it's a new one. :D:D:D

Lori259 05-05-2010 09:48 AM

~jiggle way to go on your workout before work & the water!!
Yep ~i am totally enjoying my flowers~Today is so suppose to be nice too~can't wait~I thik y breahting probs have me appreciate these nicer days & my flowers more & more each day.~HUGS~off to venture

ShylahEQ 05-05-2010 10:11 AM

Susie - 4.5 inches off of your body is FAB. I am jealous :)

Jiggle - step away from the TSP! Hold out until the weekend, the results will be worth it

KDM - I hope there is some relief happening in your area. I couldn't imagine all that water. :(

Lori - have a great day enjoying the weather

Today I got back on the treadmill this morning and it felt great. I am starting to try the C25K program. First week is 5 min brisk walk, then alternate 60 seconds jogging with 90 seconds walking for 20 minutes. I couldn't do the entire 60 seconds of jogging, only 45 seconds. AND I only was able to do that like 5 times, so a total of 2 minutes 25 seconds. After the 20 minutes I kept on walking and hit the 2 mile mark in under 40 minutes. I jogged when I could.

I'm looking forward to being able to handle the entire 60 seconds for the whole 20 minutes.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone the past few weeks. It have been VERY busy at work. We have quite a few sick animals at work that need tons of extra attention, plus we now have 3 Mississippi Sandhill Crane Chicks that also need near constant attention. I'm off today and tomorrow, so I'm just going to relax and hope that next week calms down a bit.

Well, I hardly lost anything last challenge but I have a new motivation for this challenge. I bought my tickets for my 5 year high school reunion the other day (which is June 12). Now that I actually got the tickets, I've been trying a lot harder to stay on plan. My goal for this challenge is to lost 8 lbs by Memorial Day. So...

Hello Everyone!!

I had lunch with my mom yesterday. I think I did pretty good. I ate a light breakfast (150 cals). Then at lunch I only ate half and brought the other half home for dinner.

Unfortunately Im up a lb on the scale today. But TOM is around the corner so Im hoping thats all it is. I must have changed outfits 10 times when I was getting ready for lunch yesterday. I felt HUGE in everything.

I havent heard from DH in 2 days and Im starting to worry. I cant seem to keep myself occupied today, Ive cleaned the kitchen, took the dogs for a walk, fed the horses, and done laundry, and its only 11:00am. Hopefully I will hear from him soon.

Lori I wish I had a green thumb like you. I always buy tons of plants in the spring and summer, but I cant seem to keep them going lol. I dont know if I over water or under water or what. My mom has a green thumb and I usually end up taking my plants to her so she can revive them lol.

Jiggle Ive been curious and meaning to ask you. What are the TSPs? Are they just a pair that you bought for goal?

I hope everyone has an Excellent OP day!!!!

KDM322 05-05-2010 12:25 PM

Aluxa--YOU GO GIRL!! You're almost to GW1...thats awesome!!!

Fitin10--what are you doing to burn 500+ cal per session? are these hr long sessions?? that's freakin awesome!! you're gonna kick butt tomorrow for WI!

Jiggle--as for the flood near my house, I'm good to go! luckily, we don't have any rivers or creeks in our direct neighborhood...but just like 2 miles down the main road, the water is halfway up the house windows! it's horrible! and it doesn't look like it's going down soon...AND i think we're supposed to get more rain by the weekend! it sucks! 10victims claimed so far in Davidson county (Nashville)...i'm sure we'll find more as the water goes down :(

shylah--don't worry about not being able to jog the entire 60 sec...C25K works if you stick with it...i never thought I'd be able to do it, but by the end, I did it...are you doing it outdoors or on a TM? I did mine on the TM so I could control how fast I was jogging...maybe you could slow down a bit and be able to go longer???? good luck!!!

zoo--I know what you mean about HS reunions...My 10yr is in August and it has been a BIG motivation for me since I started in Sept...I don't wanna be the fat one anymore! lol I'm thinkin i'm probably 10-20lb lighter than when I was in HS, but honestly I don't know for sure bc I dont know what I weighed then??? SOOO, GOOD LUCK STAYING OP! YOU CAN DO IT!!! sorry to hear about all the sick animals!!

well, I got more water in yesterday, but I didn't weigh today...think I'm just gonna wait til Monday for my official WI and HOPEFULLY TOM will have arrived by then! I'm going to do my 10th WO for Level 1 of 30DS today before work and then I'm gonna rest tomorrow and start Level 2 on Friday...I think I'll measure on Friday before I start Level 2...MAYBE if I'm not TOO sore tomorrow, then I'll go ahead and start L2, but I'm a little sore today so I'll probably just aggrevate the already sore muscles! haha we shall see!!!

Hope everyone's having a great week!!!!

ShylahEQ 05-05-2010 12:36 PM

I'm using a TM. Sadly, it was very slow lol I haven't actually ran since high school... and that was a long time ago.

I could barely make it 40 minutes walking when I started. It will happen. I have the patience. I feel good too! I can't wait to get 30DS and start that.
