Corinne: the bf and I for sure are planting tomatoes and hot peppers. We then talked about chives, and green peppers. I tried to think of things I would cook more with in the summer, and If at all possible I would love to grow lettus! Make what the call a summer salad. Good luck on your long hour day, sorry that sucks to so bad! I know what you mean about the coffee, I try to only have 2 cups in the morning of lite coffee and no caffieene during the day. And I don't know how I'd get through a long day like that! You rockk!:carrot:
KDM: Thanks :) yes I'm sure that's the case and I know it's a big commitment. I guess most men it's scary, and women we tend to just want it naturally, well atleast me. I feel it's like a ping pong effect, one minute he's saying lets go ring shopping and is so excited and couldn't wait to tell me my dad gave his blessing, to saying well we have to look at finances and all this stuff before setting a date to telling me to start making a folder with all my ideas and start talking to the church. I dont get it! lol I'm just going to try and take it one day at a time and get through the test. That's awesome the Mexican didn't make you gain alot, it's always a crap shoot when you indulge...and the bbq sounds really good! the veggies on the skew are really good and with the chicken. I almost prefer chicken over steak when grilling like that. Hope you have a great meal! The bf and I slepted in today which is really nice! We will look at what we want to plant today and then study study study. I took the first practice test last night and I passed but not by alot. So I have 4 more exams to take and I will be practicing all night and tomorrow and then tuesday morning...BAM! Weight is going good, still maintaining and if all goes well by tomorrow I will still have met my goal at the end of the challenge. I already have new goals waiting for the next! On for a quick sec~just got back from my dads grave ~Felt good to go there hadn't been for awhile. Planted him some more flowers.Anyways Hubby done a cook out today ~hamburgers & hotdogs So I am only at 785 calories so far & doing great ~LOL BUT TEMPTED TO GO HIGHER To quick but I am keepoing it at a good pace. so I am still 1400 or lower by the end of the day.
I got a new low weightt his morning of 154.8 Which let me officially lose 105.1 pounds and put another goodscale thingy on my signature ~just hope ~this change of food today doesn't make it go back in the morning. LOL! (ALTHOUGH I AM DETERMINED TO STAY IN MY CALORIE RANGE SOME TIMES FOODS I DO NOT EAT OFTEN MAKE MY WEIGHT GO UP) Anyways...Will be back online tommorrow to start the new challeneg For the 4th of July. Congrads to all those that made there goals & to those that didn't there always next time & u gave it a good go so I am proud of everyone regardless! One more day work it hard today ladies! Well, ladies, I'm halfway through this holiday weekend, the four pounds are still OFF, and I feel in control, partly because of your encouragement, so thanks so much! :flow1: Maybe I'll have another off by tomorrow. Fingers crossed! My calories have been 1800 to 2000 for this first 11 days, which has taken off the four pounds. I'm thinking I should probably drop to 1500-1600 now to make sure I keep it going, huh? EVERYONE, good luck the rest of the weekend. Sounds like we're all doing pretty darn well ... :flow2: Babe |
I'm doing well so far today. I have about 300 calories so far. We are waiting for guests to arrive. Hubby cooked ribs and turkey burgers on the grill and chicken for the little girl. She is real picky but that's how I am. I made potato salad and baked beans and my friend should be bringing fruit salad. Not sure what my cousin is bringing. My husband even bought low calorie margarita mix. It's 12 calories so that should help with the couple of drinks I plan to have. I should come in at or below 1400 calories.
I wore my TSPs yesterday and they fit great. In regards to my goal I set at the beginning of the challenge to fit the pants comfortably, was met. As for the 2 liters of water and 30 days of 30DS I fell short but I'm really proud of the progress I've made and looking forward to the next challenge. Lori - YOU ROCK!!! Congrats on the new low. You have been so inspiring because you keep going to get where YOU want to be. Thanks for being here!!:hug: Jdonato - Let him do his thing. Enjoy where you are now. I will tell you from a woman that wanted to be married a long time, it's really interesting!!! I have had to learn to do a lot of things differently. They say women change when they get married...So do men. In my humble opinion they change more than we do.:D:D Babe - I don't know if a drop of that much would be good. I was thinking if you are going to adjust them make it a gradual drop. It may freak out the "system"!!:dizzy::dizzy:\ Corinne - Sounds like you enjoyed the part of the challenge you got in on. I like the way my legs are looking...more lean and less bulky. For those of you that have a couple ounces to go before you get to goal...you can do it. So much for me giving my knees a break...the new WATP i got has A TON of squats & lunges! lol it's intervals of walking then strength training...the ST mixes the upper body w/lower body (just like 30DS)...it was a really good WO, but I really wanted to give my knees a break! oh well.....then DH & I went out to mow the yard...we have 1.2acres w/ALOT of trimming...took us almot an hour & half...so that was some extra cardio! it wasn't even that hot out (bc we waited til almost 5) but I was soaked in sweat!! it felt good! BUUUT, now my back & arms are KILLING me!! and my weight was back up to 170.0 today..must be the sore muscles bc I was right on point w/cals yesterday...anxious to see my weight tomorrow :)

OK, it's Monday here. My goal was to be at 210. I weighed 210.8 this morning. I am going to call it a sucess.:carrot: I am very excited about being this low. I have been at this weight since sometime in 1994!

Hi ladies. I didn't reach my goal for this challenge. It's ok. I'm picking things up now and working hard. This is the first week of the biggest loser challenge I am doing and I am on target for this next week aside from a birthday dinner for the bf tonight. Hope everyone is doing well.

Thanks Jiggle I know you're right. And that's exactly what I plan to do let him do his thing. I know how much men can change in a marriage...just look at my dad and his mid-life crisis and moving to Alaska. There is going to be alot of sacrifices and changes, so one step at a time. Thanks again:)

I'm finally able to upload a few pics from graduation. So my results from the challenge again fluxuating between 115 and 118lbs. Yesterday was 116.0 and today is 118.4 which I ate alot of sodium yesterday and crap. And tomorrow it will be back down. If I can stay right here and not go higher I'm so happy. So I will say I reached my goal for the challenge. I did make my ultimate goal weight and was able to matain within 3lbs. It's been alot of stress these past 2 months but after Tuesday It will all be worth it! Thanks ladies for all your love and support and congrats on all your hard work! We did it! now on for another challenge:carrot:

hey chicas, sorry I haven't been on the whole weekend, I have been putting in 11-12 hour days and it really sucks!! i have no internet time really so I haven't been able to respond. I weighed in today and am not happy. I am up two pounds from my low that I had yesterday. So my official weight loss for this challenge is 9 pounds, not 15! But to me 9 pounds is still A LOT!!! So i'm happy. I will just make my goal less next time, so I actually have a chance to make it! I did well this weekend, so I'm thinking it's just some sort of water weight.
KDM: did you see the season finale of Criminal Minds yet?! It was sooo good and creepy too!!!! It seemed like a scary movie to me, which you don't find very often in tv shows. jiggle: i will have to get back on 30DS, I haven't started back up on it yet! I've been working so much that i've just been exhausted and crash as soon as I get home. hopefully I will be seeing the same results you did! low cal margaritas sounds AMAZING!! babe: what did you think of the CM finale?! good huh?!!! jdon: I wouldn't worry about not finding the dream job right away, most of my friends who have graduated already even a year or two ago haven't found amazing jobs yet and are settling for entry level positions or keeping the same jobs they had in college. It really sucks! you work your butt off for all these years and rack up the money in loans and because the economy sucks so bad there's no jobs to be had once you graduate. It's terrible.. hopefully it will improve soon. your dress is so cute! shylah: that is definitely a victory, I agree!!! that's awesome! lori: hope you are doing well!!! congrats on the new low!! northern: congrats on that 50 pounds lost! it's an amazing feeling isn't it?! well i'm off to work again....work until 7 tonight...so I don't really get to celebrate Memorial Day, honestly this whole weekend has really sucked. The only good thing is I was able to see Sex and The City 2 with my best friend who moved a while ago and I haven't seen in a long time. Loved the movie! Has anybody else seen it? I didn't make my goal (again). I think the few minutes of 188 were a fluke from being sick and then I got stuck in the 189 range and I've been there for 3 weeks! I am just finishing up TOM and I totally believe that 30DS makes you hold on to weight! I'm on Level 2 day 4 and I am definitely seeing changes in my body. Especially my arms. But that scale is s-t-u-c-k!
I'm going to finish 30DS, but I'm starting to get really frustrated at not seeing movement on the scale I'll do my measurements on June 4 (my 5 month mark of my new lifestyle). We had family reunion this past weekend and I ate off plan food, but not in the proportions that I would have in the past. Like Friday night we ordered thin crust Pizza Hut and I ate one piece of cheese pizza and I grilled a bunch of vegies and put on top of it. I WANTED more but I didn't eat more. I ate about 3/4 hamburger on Saturday (only the second hamburger I've had in 2010). But then I swam with the kids. So I was happy I didn't have a gain this morning, but I didn't REALLY expect one unless it would have been from sodium. Ok, enough rambling from me. |
