Default Questions for GoWear Fit Users

Does the device have to go with subscription even if I have a display? Can I use them alone if I don't want to use their online activity manager?

Thanks!!

You need to have the subscription in order to use it. the display will give you 2 days of info at a time, but then you need to synch it up on the computer and download it to your account.

Default Question on GoWear Fit

Hi, Anybody is using GoWear Fit?
Do I have to go subscription if I have a display device? I am asking this because I plan to buy a set for my brother who is oversea and a non-English speaker. If the data can be displayed (say daily calorie burned, no need for the weekly trend) on the display watch without subcription, that will be fine.

Thanks,
RLR

Hi RLR!

I don't know the answers, but I went ahead and merged the two threads to keep all of the answers together. I hope that helps you find out the info! You are a good sister!

to expand my prior answer, you still have to have the subscription to get the display to synch up with the armband. I had to log in and set up my account and the display isn't active until you do that.

sorry, but there is no way to use it without the subscription.

You might want to look into the Fitbit, which does not require a subscription. It doesn't track everything that the GWF does, but people who have that seem happy with the info they get.

Additionally, the GoWear Fit armband only holds 14 days worth of data at a time. Once that 14 days is filled up, it will stop recording new data unless it is downloaded. To download data, a subscription is required.
