I don't go to starbucks but I read that they are switching to stevia and plan to have dairy-free stevia frappuccinos by this summer.

Ahhh! I went to starbucks this morning to get my nonfat sugarfree vanilla rooibos tea latte this morning and its FREE PASTRY DAY!
How do you say No to a free pastry??? So I got the banana loaf slice, just in case it was reasonable, and once I got a chance looked up the cals.. 360!
So I threw it in the garbage.
Whew, close one. Nicolle 1, temptations 0 (today anyway..)
Thanks a lot starbucks...

I just went to Starbucks today. When I need a treat, I order a Grande skinny carmel latte - 130 cals. Yum!

It was a super nice treat for me and I can't believe it was only 130 cals! Of course it came with no whip cream, but that's ok!
Starbucks has been pretty committed to producing low calorie alternatives to their traditional flavors. Actually my job just picked up a marketing campaign from them for their Vanilla Frappuccino Light which is the latest of their bottled beverages. It contains 50% fewer calories and 60% less sugar than their classic Vanilla flavor which is a boon to dieters.

They also have a ongoing deal on their website for 1$ off the next bottled frap

Wow, I had forgotten how good those were. I remember getting one that had to be spooned like icecream. Do I ask for the "blended" kind or are they all thick and spoonable?

Now I'm going on the Starbucks site to look up the calories in the larger size. Thanks for the reminder!

I worked for Starbucks years ago. If you order nonfat and use the sugar free syrups you can't go wrong!

Yummy treat

I love Starbucks and I'm all for their skinny drinks...but they are testing out a new drink size called then "trenta" its a 31 oz iced drink. I think that size might be a little excessive!

I LOVE the light Carmel Fraps - LOVE THEM!
Even better a Grande is only 160. These are my favourite treat in summer, I can totally work them in a my day.

As far as a hot drink, I usually do a Non-Fat Americano Misto! It's like half coffee/half latte. A grande is 70 calories. You can add sugar free syrup but lately I like 1 pump of toffee nut, not totally sure how much calories is in 1 pump though.

Starbucks was the best thing I was ever introduced to. Just stay away from the baked goods!

Being Canadian most of us like our Tim Hortons - not me, I like Starbucks because of all the choices I can have and usually for less calories. A regular cup of coffee though, Tim Hortons wins hands down. However, I do find it GROSS that 1 cream is 90 calories.

It's true that our fraps are switching by summer, so they can be any type of dairy or dairy alternative. This is going to be AWESOME for the people who order lactose free milk, soy, want it nonfat or 1%... it's just good all around! I can't wait to get trained on it and start offering it to people, because the more options we can offer the happier and healthier people can be
