I google or if I'm not near my phone/laptop, I try and work it out in my head, making sure that my guesstimate is a little higher. I think it's better to guess to high than guess to low ^_^

I always over estimate and I try to make everything myself- especially the treats! I like to bake oatmeal cookies that are 74 calories each and even have chocolate and peanut butter in them!

If someone else made them, I wouldn't touch them... but since I usually have plenty calories left after dinner I typically have 1 with a half an apple or a few grapes. Hubby usually have like 3-4 cookies, lol

That heath bar cake sounds so good, I feel guilty just thinking about eating a nice hunk of it. I bet it's worth it! hehehe

For me, I go online and put in each ingredient of the recipe and find out the amount of calories. Then I add everything together and divide it by about how many times you split this recipe.

When it comes to certain restaurants I don't know how to guestimate. How many calories do you think are in a diner breakfast burrito?

The eating lower calories to prepare for a bigger meal thing never works, at least for me. I ended up gorging myself because I'm starving!!

I also wanted to add to my post up there that I also will try and squeeze in a walk.. even just 15 or 20 minutes helps!
