Saffytaffy, that is such great news! And it's true, I'm sure there is no better motivation than having that date set for the wedding.
As for WW or calorie counting, you just have to go with whichever is easier for you to keep up with. Good luck. |
StaffyTaffy-Congratulations! How exciting....
just stopping by..hello to everyone! Ive been drinking diet cocoa at night and boy oh boy is it helping with the 'no eating after supper' rule. I think that rule is helping. have a good day!:) |
Day four back on plan. God I hope this is it and I don't put my skinny glasses on again. None of my clothes fit and I am wearing my husbands biggest pair of sweats...ack!
|
It is so depressing when the clothes don't fit, isn't it? I think that was one of my biggest motivations to get started -- that and realizing how quickly I was putting on the pounds.
Amelia, you are doing great with your October mini-goal! And I am glad you mentioned the cocoa at night. I have been allowing myself a snack after dinner but my weight loss has slowed a bit. I think I will try the diet cocoa--that should save me about 100 calories a day. |
I just went shopping and got clothes that fit! yay! I can't believe how much bigger my real size is. eek! But it feels great to have stuff that fits and looks nice.
Just about finishing up my first week on plan. Woot! |
Well no loss today, im the same as last week, oh well. I had a feeling i wouldn't lose after last weeks 3.4lb loss. Hopefully i will have a large weightloss next week (or a loss period;))
I think when i reach the 170's i will update my avatar pic...the jeans you see me wearing are now lose in the hips, legs and butts...oh YEAH!! DH and i are going monday to do a little bit of shopping, im buying ONE pair of jeans in a smaller size.. emileigh-Thanks for the support! Good Luck to you! Did you get some SF cocoa? I read that eating carbs at night can slow down weightloss too thats one of the reasons i quit with my night snack(which was usually popcorn) it an adjustment at first..but now i don't even miss it. I think the sf cocoa only has 4carbs a pouch, which isn't too bad. Hey to everyone...good luck!!!:cheer2: |
woah, joining this thread very late, but I've been counting calories for years. As of the past few years, however, I go over my goal EVERY DAY. But still yet, I try the next day too. I'm afraid it's gotten to the point where it's "normal" to go over the goal (sometimes WAY over the goal), so I just don't care.
Good luck everyone! |
Amelia, that's how I shop while losing weight...ONE new pair of jeans each size down. It feels so awesome to slide into the new non-baggy jeans. :)
|
I got the sugar free cocoa 25 calories a serving. It's not indulgent as my usual 1/2 cup of Bluebell ice cream, but at 135 calories less it makes me feel virtuous. Now the only thing I really need is for the weather to get a bit colder.
|
I'm back on the hot tea kick. zero cals and something warm to sip. I forgot how good lemon zinger is. hehe
|
Hi calorie counters! I've been around mostly in the halloween challenge.
Zoe...I like my hot tea with a dribble of sugarfree syrups. I just had some with brown sugar cinnamon, my current favorite. I don't use a lot of sweeteners most days but just enough to have some sweet. I do like some decaff coffee with skim milk or sugarfree coffee creamer and some sweetner after dinner. It does suffice for dessert sometimes. |
