The week I lived in a hotel room in Nashville I did the chicken thing. One chicken lasted me for DAYS. Those mini fridges usually have really pathetic freezers if they have one at all, so keeping frozen stuff frozen is not likely to happen unfortunately.

If you have a safeway look into some of the eating right stuff. I love their version of spaghetti o's and ravioli. Their stuff tends to have less sodium than the other brands too, not always but usually.

You could use the steamer bags, Ziplock or Glad brands) to steam many kinds of fresh vegetables in the microwave. I have heard that you can even cook omelets and meat in those bags but have never tried that.

Hummas and pita chips (low cal), delmonte harvest meals found with the canned foods like chefboyrdee. Tuna salad, chicken salad stuffed in a tomato. Cottage cheese and fruit cups.

Ohhh humus! Thank you all for the great ideas! I picked up just about everything you all said (I'm keeping this Safeway in business) and so far so good!
