Hi, all! Everyone's doing great!
I'm still sticking to plan and trying not to get frustrated that the weight isn't just melting off. LOL! Did an hour on my treadmill this morning and 45 minutes this evening. Love weekends when I can get two workouts in each day. So much easier than week days when I get home exhausted and hop on. seagirl - A bike ride along the shore sounds heavenly. How fortunate you are to live on the coast! Lori - Wow! 2/3 of your weight is amazing! You're a real inspiration. Alright - Me, too about the scale. I was up 1/2 pound this morning and had been down most of the week. I'm trying to focus on how my clothes fit on those days when the scale just doesn't want to cooperate. But, it's still frustrating. MrsLovett - Congrats on your loss! David - At first I thought that by getting "skunked" you meant you didn't get any fish ... didn't realize you meant a real skunk! OMG! That's awful! Cheryl - That's so nice of you to make that strongman thing for your friend! I'm sure they'll love it. Felt good about all I ate today. For dinner, I sauteed baby spinach, muschrooms, onions, tomatoes, broccoli (all fresh) in a little olive oil and chicken broth, with seasonings. DH and I had it over angel hair pasta. Pretty tasty and so easy. Fortunately, I have enough to take for lunch tomorrow. |
Hello all, I would like to join. even though I am struggling towards my current minigoal of 170 lbs my mid-August. roughly August 15th.
some goals: 165 by September 7th I want to button those blue jeans and still be able to breathe! lose 1 inch from waist (around navel) measurement omg, texas that veggie stuff sounds so yummy! |

tonight im on a mission, my eating day is OVER!!! when i go to sleep tonight i will feel so good about a perfect eating day...not 1 in between meal bite!!! im starting to learn about myself.....i have no problem staying on plan during the day so my strategy is to eat later...didnt have dinner til 7:30...i think i my motivation was that it took so long to get back to where i was before vacation...lets all have a great week!!!!! |

Down a pound for the past week :carrot:. Phew, didn't know if I'd make it...lol.
Since I actually ate a bit higher for the past week, I'm going to drop just a smidge and keep up with the exercise. |
Eff the scale. It can bite me. But first it would have to catch me as I speed by on my bike. :bike2:
Biked 13.5 miles this morning. Avg. speed of 12.5 mph, which is up 1mph from yesterday's 11 miler. I going to do calorie cycling this week (high and low days, with weekly average where it should be) to see if it makes a difference in weight loss. Hoping to bike tomorrow, too. Thursday is zumba!!! |

good results today with my hair~It seemed like it didn't fal out as badly when I washed it. So I think the vitamins are working.
I HOPE SO! Anyways~Still at 188 but I am getting back into my exercise routine so the weight should start dropping again soon. I am determined to get to my goal of 179 or less for this challenge~And to be at 80 lbs offically lost . PLUS I WANNA SO BADLY BE IN A SIZE 10 OFFICALLY BY THEN! Well Off to take the kids to the library~Its reading program day and my 2 youngest have a blast with that in the summer. My oldest child gets on a computer with high speed interent while we are up there LOL~We have dial up here in the country. I will type again soon.... Take care |
lori, maybe youre body was adjusting to the amount of food you were eating and now its used to it and now your hair will be ok....have a great day everyone

Hey all, just checking in. Eating is OP, the scale is creeping up, creeping down, but mostly floating around 166, so I can't complain. Maybe I'll get a new low weight soon. Yesterday's workout was brutal, mainly because it was all the exercises I absolutely hate and suck at, rolled into one workout: thrusters, burpees and knees-to-elbows on the pull-up bar. Yeesh! I felt pretty whupped on all afternoon yesterday, but not feeling it today, which is good. Today was more strongman practice, which was a LOT more fun for me. ;) I might take the bike for a spin around the neighborhood, once it cools down some. We're having a little heat wave (for us, anyway) this week, and I'm sweating just doing nothing right now. Trying to remember to drink more water in this heat.
Sounds like everybody is doing great sticking to their eating and exercise plans, and getting good results! Seagirl, thanks for the laugh! So many days I'd like to say that to my scale! :rofl: |
Hi everyone. Just breezing through. I have got some errands to run before I hit the gym this afternoon.
I just wanted to update on my progress. I haven't been that great about tracking my foods, and I have taken an additional cheat day than I originally allowed myself, but I have been sticking to the exercise and managed to get down to 191. I am happy with that I guess. Lori, I am glad the vitamins seem to be working. Keep us updated on that. jamsk8r-after seeing your goals, I had to try to do a handstand because I remember doing those all the time as a kid and it still sounded so easy. Boy was that a blow to my ego, I about broke my neck! LOL I am glad everyone is doing well. I will try to keep up with you guys a bit more. I am consigning in a kids sale and all the tagging and organizing is sucking up all my me (computer) time. Take care everyone! |
can you guys do a cartwheel??? i crash and burn!!!! im a little frustrated...i know we shouldnt rely on the scale, but i was hoping to see some results after doing well on the weekend...one thing that made me happy ; i was taking some stuff to the thrift store and i saw a pair of black levis (36 waist )....i tried them on and was able to button them!!! also, my belt is out of holes....everyone have a great day...you guys are keeping me going

Just popping in quickly to say hello! It's crazy as usual around here. I'm coming off of nearly a week of house guests and birthday celebrations for my 4yo son. We all had a blast, but now I have to catch up on work and get the house back together, etc. Do you want to see a couple of the cutest kids?
