Ok I have fallen off the wagon, hard! I know calorie counting works, its the only thing that has but if I stop counting for a while then I have the hardest time bringing myself back in line.
I wanted to know if anyone would be willing to just do a challenge for this week, checking in everyday with yesterday's calories and any exercise done.
I have the summer to get myself in line before I start an intense program at my college in the fall (I am a mom going back to school). Also I will be in front of people often since my job is in the public eye so I really want to get myself into good shape as well as healthy.
So for this week my challenge to myself is simply to count the calories and write down my exercise, if you specifically have a goal you wish to meet for amount of calories eaten then feel free to put that down too.
My Goal: Track Calories (amount doesn't matter) and exercise at least 3 times this week.
Feel free to post your calories here and help keep me accountable so I can build up my habit again!

Sick and went to bed at 9:00 and lapsed into a Nyquil coma

Stay within my calorie amount (1250), go to gym 6x per week, work on increases cardio time at gym, drink more water, and not go overboard on girl's nite out this weekend
Monday:
100oz water
1200 calories
45 Minutes of Core and Legs with Personal Trainer + 30 Minutes Treadmill
Tuesday:
80oz water
1240 calories
Group Kick Class + 20 Minutes Elliptical
Wednesday:
100oz water
1200 calories
45 Minutes Personal Training Session + 40 Minutes Treadmill
Thursday:
100oz water
1230 calories
30 Minutes Bike + 30 Minutes Treadmill
I'd like to give this a shot, I was totally good yesterday and consumed 1210 calories.
I've been 3 pounds from my goal weight since the end of May, and I would love to knock off another pound (or 2) before June is over. I wish I could say that I'm on a plateau, but I can't because I have not been staying on plan very well on the weekends. Basically I've been wiping out all my weekday hard work by over doing it on Sunday....gurrr. I guess you could say I've been in maintaince mode before I've reached my goal. I think if I could make it an entire week by staying 100% on plan. (1200 weekdays/ 1500 weekends) I could put a small dent in the final 3... ( I really want to lose 8...but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!)
Monday: 1210 Tuesday: 1205 Wednesday: 1300 Thursday: 1190 Friday: 2500 (oops) Saturday: 1190 Sunday: 1180
Average calories for the week = approx. 1400/day
I just figured we could set it up to be Monday thru Monday or Tuesday thru Monday.
Its just a place to come and be accountable every day or every other day for each day this week. I have to get someone to hold the whip over my head since the carrot (weight loss) isn't working right now.

Tuesday:
I did my 30 minutes on the treadmill, and ate 1431 calories! I'm under..yay...
Although I got on the scale this morning and it said 214.5. I thought "that can't be right" so I got off then back on...and landed at 216. Bummer!

1500 calorie a day goal
Already today:
breakfast: fresh fruit, cheese and crackers 331
lunch: Sandwhich and french onio soup 465.
Leaves 700 calories for dinner and it'll be tough. Had to fast this morning for bloodwork so packed my breakfast for afterwards and was starving 20 minutes after I ate it! Now I just had lunch and I'm still hungry! Might have some oatmeal later as a snack...
Excercise: 5k walk with some jogging
This Saturday's going to be the worst as I'm going to a family wedding shower and my aunts are all amazing cooks. Be strong. Be strong.
