Hey everyone! I've been MIA for a while... but still trudging along on my own. Hitting the gym up pretty hard and eating pretty well. Dropped another 17 lbs in the last couple months :). I'm hovering right at 200 but the scale won't give me a break and go below. Maybe next week!!!
Everyone keep up the good work. We've got a big move coming up next month but I'm going to try and check in here more to keep me motivated not go crazy from the stress! |
Only danced for about an hour last night due to DH dragging his feet about leaving and then the music taking a turn for the worse after a while. DH was grumpy so I decided one hour was good enough to balance out the drinks I had and go home.
I can get into 12's now. They are a snug fit but it's not like I have to lay down to get the zipper or anything and they don't pinch when I sit but I do prefer my pants to be a little loose so I am sticking with 14's for now, I will try the 12's again in a week or so. Need to workout before bed. Eating dinner right now so I can do so in like an hour or so. Also need to wrap the mother in law's gift for M's day. |
Good Morning Ladies:)
Just here wish you a http://bestsmileys.com/mothersday/2.gifnothing new except I don't have to wear my brace the whole day yesterday and in the evening and this morning as my ankle doesn't hurt anymore. Not going to church as I like it rest it up for the long trip Leo & I have to take for the pet scan tomorrow.I'm still going to take it easy and keep the doctors appointment this Thursday. RETIRE-Big Congrats on your one pound loss It looks like I'm maintaining for the second time but i know better by tomorrow morning. For some strange reach my ankle doesn't hurt anymore but it weak as I was sitting for over a month. I will have to strengthen it by doing some kind of exercise for the ankle.but I'll wait until the doctor tells me so. VAL ROCK-Welcome back, big congrats for losing that 17 lbs. The body is probably taking a rest for the amount o ff weight you lost. Here's to a better W-I next week. PRINNY-Your lucky that you can exercise before bed time,if I did that I won't be able sleep at all. Have a great Sunday |
Hi All
Finally finished the renovations and have the computer up and running - plenty of post to catch up on. It so nice to see everyone still battling through weight loss - it isn't easy but I'm still ticking away.... althought the weather is a shocker here at the moment - going into winter. not happy! Finally getting thing sorted for our wedding in August - have decided on a dress finally! I alway new what I wanted but trying to find a picture to show the dress maker was a real challenge, everything seem to be strapless and boring .. so I'm sorted. Going to leave it a bit longer before she starts on it as I hope to lose alot more by then Very happy this week I lost 1.6 kg (3.5 pound) so happy days! coming up to TOM so not getting my hopes up this week! |
Happy Monday everyone,
Well my scales are slowly inching downward. I lost 1.2lbs, that puts me to the 95lb mark. How many carbs do you eat per day?? I think i may be eating to many so starting today I will be tracking them.I know I had to many over the weekend. hugs to all |
Good Morning Ladies:)
Had no problem with the Mothers Day Celebration we just ate normal things we have during the week and not cake was in the house to temp me,but this morning the my scale took me up to a .8 gain at W-I. Well I'm not really upset as I can't exercise with this bad ankle and once it heals I will be able to lose again. It just a small setback, but oh gee!!how many set backs can you have in a given year. MISS LOUD-Glad to see you posting again, was wondering where you were.Happy to hear you finally decided on your wedding gown, and big congrats on your 1.6 weight loss. DGRAMIE-Big congrats on your 1.2 and reaching the 95 mark.I think I eating to many carbs also, especially bakery bread. While trying to heal my ankle I think I relying on tow many comfort foods, which is a nono to the diet world. Going to watch this week and cut some of them down need a good W-I for next week. |
Hey everyone! I posted once or twice in the April thread but then things got crazy. One of my cats escaped and I was very upset. He's always been an indoor cat so he's not equipped for the outside world. That was almost two weeks ago, so I don't think he's coming back. :( Then I had my TOM so that exhausted me, work's been crazy...it just hasn't been a good time.
But I had a great weekend, Mother's Day was wonderful (and I got a Kindle!). I'm back and while I'm not quite refreshed, I'm feeling better and just more optimistic. So I just wanted to pop in and get involved in the chat again. I did make some good steps toward being accountable over the weekend. I made the cabbage soup recipe from Weight Watchers. I actually like the stuff! I made tons and froze most of it, and I plan to eat that along with dinner every night to help fill me up. I also start a new work schedule next week, and I'll be off at 4 instead of 5. I work at a middle school and there's a track here, so I plan to walk every day for about an hour after work before I pick up my kids from daycare. I've been waking up early (some days) to exercise but so much gets in the way. I'm looking forward to having that hour to myself, really and truly to myself, every day to exercise. |
Oh, Amy, I'm so sorry about your kitty :( I hope he comes home, or someone finds him and calls you. I always check the collars of cats I meet outside.
Congratulations on the losses, everyone. I was 3 lbs down for the week at this morning's official weigh-in. 70 lbs was actually a mini-goal of mine for next week, from months ago. So that's nice. The other mini goal was 175 by the first weekend in June (my birthday). We'll see. Also, new clothes are nice. I had to get some because mine were falling off. I was dreading it and the spending, but it went pretty well and I scored some cute/cheapy shirts and a new skirt at Target. Then found a new-old pair of pants in my own closet, one that was skin-tight not so long ago. Nice surprise. I guess shopping will be downright fun when I'm all the way down! |
Hi everyone! This was a busy weekend for me, so I was MIA! Im back today, and after cleaning my entire house (I LOVE the feeling of a spotless home) Im here to sit & post!
I hope all the Mommies,Grandmas, & Aunts has a wonderful Mothers Day! Mine was great! I recieved ALOT of sweet cards, and the one that my hubby gave me made me cry. I got a white gold #1 Mom necklace, my subscription to Cooking Light magazine, and money for my tattoo fund (Im starting my big chest piece Wednesday night!) My dad made seafood stuffed peppers for a snack before dinner. I had half a pepper and they were delicious! I was nervous because I know he used to some real butter in the mix, and real cheese on top, so I ate only half of one. He also made meatball subs for dinner. I had turkey meatballs, homemade sauce, whole wheat roll, and fat free cheese on mine. I did eat a BIG portion though, and although I brought a WW Smartones for my dessert (everyone else had homemade chocolate cake) I skipped dessert totally as I was still full from a bigger portioned meal. I did well I think, and the scale read 163 still this morning, so no gain there! Prinny - Congrats on the size 12's hon! Thats freakin awesome! I figure so long as you dont have to fight to get them on, than it counts ;) Beach - Im anxious to hear your MRI results. I hope they are positive and its nothing long term. I hope you're having a good, safe trip today and the PET scan goes smoothly. Retire - First your power, than the water? Holy heck! I hope thats the last of all that business so you can get everything in order. Im guessing Im alot like you with organization, so Im SURE regardless you'll have everything finished, and probably ahead of time too! Congrats on your 1lb. and goodbye good riddens to the 140's for you, forever!! :D LJ - I W-I every morning at the same time (after a bm, sorry if TMI, and before breakfast) My big W-I day is Fridays. I dont actually CC on paper or online anymore. Sounds like you're doing great, keep it up!! Michelle - Welcome, and STAY this motivated and confidant. That will be the main aspect that helps you reach that goal!! :D Dgramie - Congrats on more loss for you, You ROCK!! Amy - Im so sorry about your kitty :( Im hoping he's safe and well, and he'll return soon. Sounds like everything is coming along great for you in the WL dept, and I hope you enjoy your exercise time! MissLoud - WB! Hooray for your loss! Thats a nice downward slope! Id love to see your dress choice (if you want to share) White - Shopping is fun as we shrink right? Congrats on those clothes being too big! I also try and bargin hunt as much as possible. The pants I bought for our vacation less than a month ago are now able to go on & off without being unbuttoned. So.. yeah, shop bargin whenever you can! Alright, the baby is up from his nap so Im off, have a great day everyone!! |
I had to mention ONE thing I forgot above!!
Yesterday at my parents house our almost 3 year old had an accident right near the toilet, and literally peed on my leg. My little sister (18) brought me down a pair of her yoga pants, and they fit SO cute. My mother even pulled me aside and said "Those fit even tighter on Candace than you!" HUGE NSV, as Ive been the "fat sister" of the 3 of us, for about 5 years now. Now we're all the same size!! :D :D :D |
VEGASJust got home from the Petscan our appointment was 1:30PM and we had a 2hr wait [for another guy who was late for his appointment]to be finished before Leo could go in for his petscan. Its unbelieved that people do this and make other wait. We always there 30 mins before our scheduled appointments, why can't people do the same.
I was in pain after a while waiting I had to put my leg on another chair to keep it elevated.Poor Leo was famished by the time we came home I had lots of granola & cheese bars with me but he didn't wait to eat at that time. I have my MRI results on Thursday. You & I both hope that I didn't have a long thrown on event with my ankle. It was a long long day,I ready for bed. See you gals tomorrow |
Mother's day was a disaster. I ate too much and had such a food coma not only did I not workout I just went to bed at 8PM after getting up at 1PM. I kid you not DISASTER. I refused to weigh today. Maybe tomorrow too. My allergies are making me miserable but I have to try and workout tonight or I am going to get so behind... with a HUGE BEHIND.
I am pretty miserable today. :-( |
Good Morning Ladies:)
This morning is a new day and I'm going to start strict dieting by not allowing what not on my menu go in to mouth No extras for me. I just going to stay on my calorie count for the day now that my stressful day from **** is over. AMY-Sorry about your cat. We had a indoor cat and she escaped but we found her in our front yard,as she was neutered, and I understand that once she fixed she wouldn't go far.Never made cabbage soup but I do like WW veggie soup, was thinking about having soup at supper time, as the nights are longer now that we have daylight saving time and I need some thing to keep me accountable for night time snacking. WHITE FENCES-Big congrats on your 3 lb weight loss. That total of 70lbs. is impressive also. VEGAS-Glad you had a wonderful Motherda day My was quite my DD & SD called in the morning and I did get a cute card for my DGC. Going to buy one of those magnet frame to put it on the refrig.Don't have reg cake in my house but I do that the bite size ww choc cake and WW ice cream cups for Mothers Day,along with that we had Cornish game hens, stuffing and string beans. Not warm enough for a BBQ,wanted BBQ ribs but I had to settle for the latter. That's cute NSV congrats for that. PRINNY-Sorry about your Mothers day over eating. Some time our bodies do that, for some strange reason. Try to stay ON PROGRAM now matter what it is,an for a few days, hopefully it was adjust itself and the scale will go down again. Have to go to work on today chores |
Hi everyone!
Beach - Im so sorry the PET appt was such a disaster. Out here, if you're more than 15 minutes late, they cancel you, period. Im glad your husband made it through though, and happy its over & done with. Glad you had a nice Mothers Day! The cornish hens sound wonderful!!! Prinny - Everyone screws up hon, just try and have the next few days back on point. Thats all you can do really. I wish I could sleep alot like that. Im like an old woman, and go to bed around 9:30 everynight, and wake up with the kids at 6:30 every morning. Yesterday was nice! My husband is playing manager this week as his company's owner is on vacation. Its a nice break for him and he comes home about 3 hours early. Yesterday we cooked dinner together, a salmon recipe from Cooking Light, baked potato wedges and asparagus. It was a nice afternoon, but my husband being the workaholic he is, misses his regular full day. Today Im taking the kids to the park to play for a bit. Its hot here already (95) so they have kiddie sprinklers they can run through there and get wet. Should be fun for them. Then we'll come home and make banana berry smoothies with lunch. Im staying OP but the scale hasnt budged in either direction. While Im glad for no gain, I know its moving VERY slowly now that Im almost at goal. I am NOT giving up! 8 more lbs. until original goal, and then 10 more because I want to! Have a wonderful day everyone!! |
I worked out yesterday, and have been pretty good eating wise. I am stuck at just above 155 though so I'm getting frustrated. The date for when I should be at goal keeps slipping farther away and it's upsetting me. Feeling rather depressed about it all really. The heat the last few days isn't helping.
|
Great calorie day yesterday. I love calorie counting because you can eat anything you want..just got to fit into your day.
I increased my water yesterday to a gallon and a half.I had spent 100 min in the garden with a rake and hoe. I was parched. My arms are sore today and well as my rib cage. The garden looks great!! Too bad it will all have to be done again in just a few days!! Have a great day everyone!! |
Good Morning Ladies:)
The sun is shinning and Leo & I are heading for the beach, don't think we'll get any walking done, but it nice this morning just to sit and watch the surf coming in. Second day on the Low carb Plan and I don't miss the bread at all.Thinking I was having too many of them and that's causing the scale going up in bits & pcs. VEGAS-That's a good law that they have out there. [15 mins late and you lose you appointment] that will teach the people to be on time.OH!! big congrats on being so close to goal, gee!! I have a least 16 lbs to go and than more down the line. I'm totaling thinking about signing up with a gym once my ankle get better.Have to get this weight off once and for all. PRINNY-Don't be frustrated,I know that easier said than done. I get into the moods also. You might be a a stand still know, but than in a few weeks the weight will be coming off again.Try some thing new to get it started again.I'm stopping breads as I had to many of them while mending my ankle. DGRAMIE-Glad to hear that calorie counting is working for you.It is for me also,in certain respects. Have to watch my bread carbs, while I'm off exercising until I get the doctors ok. Getting my water in,as the temps are getting warmer and I will bring the salads into my summer menus also. |
 Just a quick hello. Hope everyone is doing well. It seems so for most. Will catch up later on as I've got a very busy weekend coming up and lots of planning to do. It's mom's 92nd birthday on Sunday and I'm hosting an open house for her. My sister and niece will be here for the great affair so I'm cleaning and baking and cooking and shopping most of this week.
|
Good Morning Ladies
Nothing new, except that I had a very bad night sleeping, going to the doctor this morning for the results of my MRI,and I sure Leo will find out today about his pet scan. |
Just got home from the orthopedic doctor and I have to have another MRI on my full back. He believes that I have a disc in my back that is leaning on my syntactic nerve. If this is not the case he will recommend me to a foot ankle specialist.
Have to go for my second MRI this Tues at 5:15 PM.Than back to the doctor 6/5. Hope a pray that I don't to have to have an operation on my back. |
Oh I have been up all night. I am in the middle of my workout just thought I should pop in to say helloooo.
Sleep deprivation is making me feel a bit insane. WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Hrm I wonder when I am going to go to sleep and when I should start counting food and such on the 14th instead of the 13th. |
Beach - You and I will lose all of our weight, no matter what! Right now you're in a small, TEMPORARY, bind. Things will get better on the health front. I am SO hoping it is not your back!! My dad is only 49 and has had 3 back surgeries already. They are very intense and hard to recover from. I will keep you in my healing thoughts!
Retire - A very happy birthday to your mom! 92 is amazing, she is a real inspiration! Dgramie - Gardening sounds so nice! Here its all desert so there isnt much to do, however when we visit my inlaws in southern California, our girls love to help Grandma garden! Prinny - You crack me up! Soo.. I started my tattoo last night. This was my "goal" tattoo and being 7lbs away, I decided to give in and start it early. Its under my collar bone, above my breasts, and all the way across. (I know most of you probably despise this, but I love it!) It was just the outline this session and took 2.5 hours. I go back in 3 weeks for shading, than 3 weeks after that for full color. I W-I at 162 this morning, and changed tickers. Life is good :D |
Vegas - I love tattoos and would love to see a pic when you're done!
|
Heres a pic of just the outline I got last night...
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...eKisses/ch.jpg Also, while Im near the picture links, here's my before & current.. Before at 209lbs. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...ses/before.jpg Now, taken 2 weeks ago at around 166lbs. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...Kisses/now.jpg Gosh.. I was GROSS. |
Vegaspunkermom I like good tattoos and that looks very promising! I have one myself, on my shoulder from years ago.
Down to 153.4 this morning, er, well EVENING. I got up at 7PM after being up for about 24 hours. Lots of cleaning to do tonight I guess that'll be my workout for today. |
Good Morning Ladies:)
Going to have a nasty rainy day,so we both going to take it easy today. The the only thing we don't like about the Cape is the weather, every on is having such a beautiful Spring day and we get the eat in your bones dampness. PRINNY-Maybe you could get to bed earlier and stop exercising at bed time would bring the ZZZZ's back again. Congrats on your weight loss also. VEGAS-Thanks,Right now I'm thinking about my back, but if I had back problems wouldn't it hurt all day. The pain seems to start around 5PM and last during the night if I don't take a pain killer. The doctor believes its leaning on my syactic nerve that causing the pain.Dr Told me if the MRI shows it not a disc He will give me a cortisone shot in my syactic nerve. Gee so sorry about your dad being so young with back problems, and having 3 surgeries. I read that they don't cut the back anymore they use a method call microsurgery, Quote:
You're a very pretty young lady, and big congrats for losing all that weight. Its easier when you start younger that at my age.My DD is always telling that. Can't do anything now,but I think exercising is the key to weight loss, but I can't do any, until this leg problem is solved. Have a great morning, going to rest my leg |
I'm very new to the calorie counting thing. I started weight watchers January 18 and 3 weeks ago bought a bodybugg and started counting calories. I'm losing a bit more and consistently so far with the bugg and counting calories, but was curious........
Should I just worry about the calories or should I be focused on sodium, fat, fiber, etc., etc.? Like I said, I'm new so would appreciate any tips/advice. |
Hi Hiyas! I'm new to this site and figured I'll probably be counting calories. I've tried other types of dieting and I just think that this will help me be more mindful of what I'm eating for the longterm and not just focusing on the "diet".
Tattoos are awesome! Is that your first one Vegaspunkermom? The one in my picture is a tiny portion of my huge tattoo, which was my first. Go big or go home, right? :D Er, or should I change that to go little? hehe. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all and learning from you! :) ~Shannon |
Prinny - I just saw your mini goal numbers. Those look good!! Congrats on the loss!
Beach - Thanks so much for the compliment :D:hug:That was so nice to hear! I dont think its your back. I have a hard time trusting Drs, and I believe went they dont know whats exactly wrong, they'll blame in on something else. (We have no idea whats wrong with your leg, so it must be your back) All I would say is rest, do upper body workouts when you can, and dont settle for any answer you dont feel is the right one. Yeah, my mom isnt too fond of tattoos either. She hasnt seen this one yet, but Im sure when she does she'll say something like "Its your body" lol Different generations I suppose, but it is what it is. In the end Im happy so she's happy :) Mel - In my opinion, Id mainly stick with calories, but also watch your fat intake a bit as well. You dont want to eat 1400 calories of junk ya know? Has to be pretty healthy, most of the time. Welcome & hope to get to know you better soon! Shannon - Welcome! Im sure you'll find that CC is really the best way to lose the weight & keep it off. I believe its the only method that is truly a lifestyle change, and thats what matters. I suppose unless one plans to eat WW forever.. lol This isnt my first tattoo. I have 6 others, biggest being back of my neck piece, and right leg piece (2 sessions, 8 hour chair time) dedicated to my kids. I have plans for at LEAST 3 more pieces for sure, 2 medium, 1 big. I also am considering 4-5 other pieces right now but havent decided for sure yet. My husband is fully covered. ;) |
beach bum Well when I work out is limited by the weather, if it's hot and it is during the day now usually no way I can work out. I am also limited by my DH's schedule as well. Right before bed is usually the only time I have to do it.
Vegaspunkermom Yeah I just kind of pulled them out of my rear, but I have been crunching some numbers and... After choosing a few weight numbers, almost arbitrarily for the most part, and counting it looks like it takes me an average of 21 days to lose 5 pounds. Wow. I was hoping to lose 2 pounds a week when I started this but I just don't. The longest period was 23 days, when I was sick. The shortest was 18 and I hoinestly have no idea what to attribute that to. In anycase I double checked my minigoals and the first two are right on target for 21 days, the last one however is not. Well WAS not I am going to adjust it out a week based on my calculations. We shall see if my basic pattern holds as I go. It'll be interesting to see if my math holds up, eh? |
Good Morning Ladies:)
The sun is out again, wish I could go out and do some walking, but I forgot to ask the doctor if it was ok to do. Still up a little from my last W-I and I wondering now why it hasn't gone down.I stopped my breads and the only carbs I'm eating are cereals, pasta & rice. Maybe its the side effects from the meds????????? Wish I could put a finger on it. MELWOLFE-Welcome to the board.I use the WW points to count my calories, and I'm using 1300 -1500 which is[26p-30p]I started in the beginning at 1800 cal than I went down to 1600 and I'm now at my present range. Its just trial & error I suppose. I agree with Vegas you must start with healthy foods & watch the fats. SHANNON-I stopped using the diets out there,I found that all the noes :nono:in the diets were driving me crazy, now I just concentrate on calorie counting my way of the WW point system. VEGAS-The orthopedic doctor in our town is a very well known sports doctor in this part of the northeast..I really trust him and I really believe in him. Hopefully the scan of my back will end the mystery,as I do have 3 deteriorated discs in my back 2 in the lumbar section and 1 in my neck. The only question is:shrug::?: why does it hurt only in the evening????:?::shrug: PRINNY-Sorry I didn't know your schedule, just do the best you can. |
I have my computer back! After being in the shop for nearly 3 weeks, turns out it was the graphics card and the hard driving both packing it in at the same time.
I've put new ones in (wasn't going to pay them $120 each to do the job for me!) and I'm back. Prinny. I found I stopped stressing so much about hitting my goals when I stopped concentrating on them, and just did what needed to be done. I still graph, but I don't have a target line any more, and if I am still achieving a downward trend (which I am) I'm happy. Nonnahs and melwolfe. Welcome! I started by just focusing on calories. That's all. You get to a point where you are keen to maximise your calories, and then to minimise the stuff you may be eating excessively. But don't stress about it (my message for the day! :D ). Vegaspunkermom. Awesome tat! It's going to look great when it's all coloured. Off to go for a run now. Cheers chickies! |
Primm I have specific events that I am losing for and I do have to be a certain size by August or I am going to have big, expensive problems. Plus if I don't have dates and a timetable I get more frustrated because this seems like it takes forever. Now I know about how long 5 pounds takes I go less crazy about it.
Of course that's if I stay on track. We took a random drive out to the coast and stumbled on a restaurant in a little podunk town that had Hungarian food so we said to **** with it and had fantastic dinner. Was back up to 154 as a result today but I don't think I went more than a few hundred over for the day in total so I should be able to make that back. I also did a LOT of cleaning and have sore muscles today, and I know I didn't drink enough water because I was so busy and that could be the reason I am up too. |
Well I had a stay the same week. NO weight gain no weight loss. Im ok with it cant always lose.Just staying with my program and increasing exercise a bit.I have kinda slacked this month.
hugs |
Good Morning Ladies:)
We're having rain again, and until we get this damp weather gets out of here Leo & I are going to be hurting. Hope it chances by the time the Memorial Weekend rolls around. We planning our first BBQ of the season than. PRIMM-Glad you got your computer back, its horrible to have to live without it,when we became so accustomed to having one.How do you know what calorie range is right for you??? Is it just by trail and error???? Or do you work with a set amount of calories than a range where you can Zig Zag them. DGRAMIE-Big Congrats on your maintaining, I think we all feel that way.I for one can't exercise[until I get the doctors ok] and that what putting me in the not losing mode. Its going to take for ever for me to get out of the 160's. Here's to a better W-I next week. |
I have a bodybugg and just followed the recommendations as to how many calories to eat. It's working so far as I've lost 5 lbs over the last 3 weeks!
If you don't have a bodybugg/go wear fit/sensewear thingy and can afford it I highly recommend it. I love this thing so far! It is well worth the money in my opinion. I bought a heart rate monitor but it just didn't give me enough info about how hard I was working out, etc. Anyways, I'm really liking counting calories so far. I just feel like I'm the one in control ya know? |
melwolfe Argh, I so do not want to see anything about these anymore because I just can't afford one right now.
I have a bad feeling I am not going to make my next minigoal. I am having issues motivating to workout, and feeling hungry a lot more than I have been. Bleh. |
Yeah, I have a harder time working out now than in the beginning. Mainly because I get bored and I can't get anybody to workout with me. My daughter doesn't live here so rarely can I get her to come over and workout in the evening. My honey doesn't get home until dark and won't workout at all, none of my friends are doing any sort of exercise so it's just me...........I hate working out by myself. So far, I haven't really skipped any workouts but still...............
Hang in there and just keep doing what you can do, we'll all get there eventually as long as we don't stop trying! |
I was good and worked out! I even added in a few exercises I hadn't done in years and forgot about. We'll see if that helps. I think when I get back from my trip it's time to look into some dance classes or something for variety.

Hi Everyone!
Ive been MIA for a few days due to my 3 kids each getting sick AGAIN, for 24 hours each, 3 days in a row. I took them all to the Dr yesterday and its a viral sore throat, which like the common cold, there is no real medicine for. Just have to wait it out. Luckily now all their fevers are gone, the baby is 100% and the girls have Motrin twice a day for throat pain. :/ Beach - Every pain or sickness is worse in the evening. Im glad you'll have a good reputable Dr taking care of you though. Thats so important. Hope you're feeling well today! Prinny - You give me a laugh everytime I come on here. LOL Im glad you're exercising, and wish I was. I really need to get off my rear now that the kids are doing a bit better. I did clean the entire house yesterday, and washed every sheet, towel & blanket here. Does that count? Mel - I havent had a partner through my whole journey. My husband did learn how to cook lower cal/lower fat versions of alot of foods I love, but thats as far as that went. All of my friends are pregnant or dont want to lose weight (even though some should) and unless you count my 4 & 2 year old pretending to do my exercises for 5 minutes with me, Ive spent the last 5.5 months doing this alone. I hated it before, but have learned to love it now. No one else to worry about, all your focus on you. You can do this!! 2 funny things to report.. 1. I hopped on my Wii Fit for the first time in 93 days yesterday. I lost 23.4lbs. in that amount of time, now have a BMI of 25.40 (25 even is NORMAL weight, Im ALMOST there!!) hit my wii goal, and then got asked by the Wii machine if I was eating enough or working out too hard because I was losing weight so fast. The MACHINE accused me of not losing weight correctly HA! 2. I had a magazine saleman at my door the other day. When he started his schpeal I said "Im sorry, I have 3 kids, I cant afford extra donations right now" (thats always my excuse) and he replied with "YOU have 3 kids?!" Best feeling of my entire life. I W-I yesterday (its TOM for me right now as well) and was 161.6!! Thats another lb. lost, and while on TOM. Im very happy about this. I cant believe only 6lbs until goal. Just typing it brings tears to my eyes. Off to change my tickers! Have a wonderful day all! |
