Default What are you cookin for Easter Sunday?

So, this is a challenge for me. I usually just cook a whole bunch of yummy food, don't worry about what we are eating, and stuff ourselves, and then have the leftovers for diner again that night. But this year, I have been doing some searching for Low-Cal recipes that fit into my calories alloted per day. I think we are having a Ham, Yams, and then a veggie, and then trying the blackberry cake that I found on this website. What are you having?

Roast chicken, green veggies, roast potatoes.
Don't really do desserts.

When I was a child, chicken was Really expensive, it was the real treat meal that we just had twice a year, Christmas and Easter.

Chicken Cordon Bleu and steamed asparagus. Chicken breasts (ultra thin for me) rolled up with one slice each of ham and asiago cheese. I usually do a fatty sauce but obviously now I won't be ... no heavy cream, no egg to roll in would be good too. I wonder if plain yogurt would go well?

Skipping the sugary lemon bars this time. I actually would, and just abstain, but I am baking for something else (a low sugar birthday pie later that same week) and do plan to have a small slice of that.

I am making a turkey, stuffing (using broth instead of oil), broccoli rice casserole, mashed potatoes & cauliflower, green beans, & for dessert, cheesecake dip (which is surprisingly not nearly as diet-killing as it sounds!).

Easter will be hard for me. My Aunt is the family cook. She adds butter to everything. I just might take my own food over.

We are skipping easter this year. Not that it matters anyway since we are agnostic. Will probably just order something since we are having people over.

My mother is doing the usual ham dinner meal, of which I'm going to help her cook, of course. I'll only actually be eating some ham, some beans, my own side of fruit, and a home made roll(hey-can't pass those up.) Dessert is going to be chocolate crème brûlée, which
I wouldn't pass up even if my life depended on doing so, but I've got it all planned in so there's no worries here.
(We're also making potato salad, brown sugar and butter loaded sweet potatoes, etc. but I luckily have always found these caloric atrocities to be repulsive. )

Stuffed Pork Tenderloin, green beans, smashed cauliflower. I might, just MIGHT fix homemade dinner rolls if we feel like being bad.

Not traditional but my family's favorite--PUMPKIN PIE for dessert!

My family doesn't have any special plans yet, and I already know that I'm working. It should be fairly easy to get away with not having a huge dinner fest. And if my mom decides to cook something (once in a blue moon), I'll just have a teeny bit and a BIG salad.
