I feel your pain. It's hard to know that choices have consequences and still not listen to yourself! I've been struggling with that a lot lately!!

Artificial sugars tend to make me crave sugar, and I've heard the same from others, so if you're eating food or drinking liquids with artificial sugar, this could be setting off the cravings. To cut my sugar cravings I had to totally eliminate artificial sugar. I also eat real sugar, honey, syrup sparingly. When I do processed foods that have sugar, I try to make sure that the sugar content is low at 4-5 g of sugar or less per serving.

There are a few things I've found that satisfy my sweet tooth that don't send me off the deep end, including mint tea, 1-2 small squares of 70% dark chocolate and coconut frozen fruit bars.
