I like cut up fruit, and if I have nothing else it's that. I also like a tortilla with peanut butter on it wrapped around a banana. I eat a lot of the same thing that others listed (oatmeal, cottage cheese, english muffins, etc), and tend to eat the same thing for several days in a row before switching.

I also like to make some variation on migas when I have time.

I know this is an odd breakfast, but I'm often eating a piece of salmon and a piece of whole wheat toast for breakfast these days. I find that protein is important to keep mid-morning cravings away and I've been working on getting enough omega-3s.

In the last two months, I've cycled between:

2 cups of Cheerios for 220cals (very little milk)
Toasted bagel w/ whipped butter for 350cals
3/4 cup (before cooking) old fashioned oats with Stevia and Strawberry Jam for 300cals

The bagel is never a good idea for me... they provide them free at work, and I love it while I'm eating it, but feel hungry again an hour or two later. The Cheerios seem to fill me up for 3+ hours, so does the oatmeal... though I would like to be getting some protein in, too. Sometimes I'll add a piece of fruit if there's some in the kitchen, usually an orange or a banana. But really, my best bet is always the Cheerios. Easy, filling, and very low in calories... and it usually takes me a few weeks to get tired of it.

I have two kids and they like variety. When i'm home from class i make us ww pancakes with fruit mixed in. Our favs include raspberries, apples, and of course blueberries. They also like waffles, eggs and turkey bacon, breakfast burritos, and french toast made with ww bread.
On school days if i wake up early enough i make oats ( i can't do microwave ones) or else i eat cereal and take a luna bar or cliff bar with me for a snack. Cereal usually tides me over 2 hours and not a second more.

Once in awhile we have bagels and while they are delicious, they aren't filling. Pairing them with yogurt and fruit helps.

I never used to eat breakfast until i got pregnant with my son. Now i get sick if i don't eat. I love breakfast foods, we have breakfast for dinner a lot

I eat the same thing most days --

1/2 cup oats cooked in water with 1 chopped apple (med) & 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
1/2 cup all whites with salt & pepper

On weekdays I like peanut butter on toast, jam on toast and a yogurt or porridge with yogurt and sugar. Sometimes I have some fruit. We have a bread machine so I cut my bread as thin as possible and weigh it for the calorie count!
I like to have a fried breakfast sometimes on weekends and yesterday I had a poached egg, a veggie sausage, a slice of bacon, a piece of toast and some soy beans in sweet chilli sauce with watered down orange juice and a coffee. The count was only around 400 calories.

Oh, another one I forgot - crepes! I have them with powdered sugar, jam, fruit, or vegetables.

These are some great ideas. I don't really like many breakfast foods, or have a lot of time in the mornings. I usually just have a granola bar, a piece of fruit, or pb on toast. I'm trying to get more protein in, so I'll definitely try some of these suggestions. Thanks everyone.

I am going to be trying a low fat bran muffin recipe today. Each muffin should be only 150 calories. I figure if I have that and a half serving of low fat cottage cheese, that should hold me. I'll let you know how they come out, and if they are good, I'll post the recipe I am trying to get my husband more fiber too

I've been known to have a hunk o' salmon for breakfast too. And snack, actually.

I haven't read the whole thread but one of my favorite breakfasts is protein pancakes:

1/3 c. cottage cheese
1/3 c. oatmeal (not instant!)
2 whole eggs or 1 whole egg + 2 egg white

Blend. Cook like pancakes.

You can add cinnamon or vanilla (or both!) to the batter. I'll add blueberries or strawberries to mine before I flip them. Bananas to DD's. I'll eat them with pumpkin butter or sf syrup and walnuts and/or more fruit.

Decadent!

I love to bake, and make whole-wheat bread on the weekends, and whole-wheat, oatmeal & flax muffins. I always have loaves & muffins in the freezer. Usually, this is the only bread or grain I eat all day. If I plan to have grains in the evening, I cut back slightly on the bread or muffin serving at breakfast.

So my breakfast is usually:

-Two very thin slices of bread, or a muffin & a half, spread with peanut butter or almond butter
- Plain nonfat yogurt with Splenda & some flavoring (vanilla or maple)
- Strawberries, or cantaloupe, or frozen blueberries
- Black coffee

Sometimes the fruit & the yogurt are mixed together.

I have no idea how many calories are in my bread, but I make it & I do it by hand, so I know exactly what has gone into it. It's extremely dense & moist & a thin slice is very fulfilling.

I am so not a morning person, so I get out of bed with a minimum of time to get ready and get to work - i'm too lazy to make eggs those days. Weekends, I'm all about egg sandwiches or omelettes. Weekdays, I'm a 100 calorie whole wheat english muffin with laughing cow and turkey (which has been set up the night before and is ready to grab in the am; a quesadilla with 2 tortillas, laughing cow and fat free refried beans (also set up the night before, microwaved for 30 seconds in the am, and grab the little container of salsa I take along). If I forget those, it's the special k bars I keep in my drawer at work. I also make some mean whole wheat oatmeal apple muffins that are 105 cals a pop, but I find they don't keep me full until lunch.

Yummm, both of those sound so good! As do the oatmeal-apple muffins!

Normally Ill have K with berries and a piece of fruit or yoghurt with fruit. For more hearty quick breakfasts I will keep around boiled eggs, low fat cheese slices and make a slice of whole grain toast or two really quick.

Since I started working, my breakfast is usually oatmeal and/or a banana. I like an egg with cheese on a multigrain English muffin but my time on weekday mornings has been seriously constrained.

Cereal doesn't usually do much for me. I end hungry like an hour after eating it.
