  • Hot chocolate diet sounds like a good way to diet LOL

As of this weekend, I am at 207.8 pounds....getting closer and closer to my goal of being out of the 200's forever!!! I don't think it's going to happen by New Year's, but anytime in the month of January would be good!!!
  • Marybeth, congrats on the 2 lbs.

Chele, great to hear from you! You are getting so close to ONEderland, that is awesome! You can always try my patented hot chocolate and 3 hours of cardio diet, for fast weight loss, lol!
  • Cheryl I love the idea of the hot chocolate diet, except I think I'm too lazy for three hours of cardio! Great job working out!! I definitely need to improve in that area.

My official weekly weigh in is tomorrow - I'm pretty close to my goal so we will see if it happens!!
  • RG, if it's not skate dancing, I have trouble getting 30 mins in, lately. I think I need a new program or challenge to get myself back in the running game, as I've just been having motivation problems with that this week. I think I just get bored with it after 30 mins, and I have this "should" in the back of my mind all the time, like I should be working my way up to 45 or 55 mins, because 30 mins ain't cutting it, and I just cannot get excited about HIIT running. So, I need to think of something to make it exciting, or else find a new form of cardio. I've tried mixing it up on the machines at the Y, bores me to tears, though it is a good workout. I like the Crossfit workouts, but always overdo it and injure myself like a dufus. Maybe a new sport with some skill training involved. I never get tired of skate dancing, I think because there's always something new to learn, so I'm always working to learn a new move, or improve my flexibility...it keeps me coming back for more. I need something like that for running, or a replacement for running, some sort of cardio to do on my non-skating days. Hmmm... What does everybody else like to do for cardio and/or sports?
  • Sounds to me like you should just do skate dancing! I mean remember when we were kids and we exercised all day long... I think we called it playing.
  • RG, that would be lovely, except my old feet can only take so much of that kind of abuse. I do skate 2-3 nights a week, though!

ETA: I'm hogging the thread today, sorry. Just checking in to report that I did my running, the whole 30 mins, like I was supposed to.
  • Heya everybodies,

I'm sticking to my guns and doing fine. At this point it's not too much of a struggle anymore, although I was sorely tempted to get smashed at my brother's wedding this weekend

I haven't had as much time as I'd like to do in-depth weights or anything beyond the basics. Blah, this is my studio's busiest week of the year and I'll get time soon enough.

I'll check in when I can grab a free moment! Note the obscene time of my free moment today. Crazy madness!
  • FB! Been missing you around here, but glad to hear that business is good. Rake it in while you can...you'll need the money for clothes! Getting snockered is fun, till the next day...just think how fun taking pics of crying babies would be the day after, lol. When is your final BFL weigh-in?
  • Just dropping into share my goal.... I made my new years goal yayayaya! I am now 219.5 down from 235.5 when I started this challenge. I am so happy, now I want to see if I can get down 4 more pounds before the new year. That might be pushing it with christmas and lots of cookie making in those two weeks but its worth a try.
  • Wow, Kiwi, 15 lbs! Congratulations on that success!
  • Congrats Kiwi!!
  • havent done as well as normal with this challenge. I am op till christmas eve. I did horrible today..stress!! My brother had wls on monday last week and they had to go back in on friday and we came really close to losing him. He is septic and far from being out of the woods and i crashed today and ate. Knowing that is why he is in the shape he is in. Makes me mad at myself for eating...back op in the morning!!!!!
  • DG, I'd be a wreck, too!

I stayed OP today for food and water, and got my workouts in. I had to make up my LB lifting workout, since I missed it yesterday, so I just did a FB lifting workout, then 30 mins of easy running. I didn't set a scale goal this time, but I'm hoping I can get out of the 180s soon...feels like I've been stuck here for ever!
  • I'm back to basics. Up into red zone, want to get well into comfort zone.

back to basics, back to basics, yup. uh huh.
  • Kitty, I like your idea for using the ticker for your maintenance range. Genius!

I've been POP today so far. Skating tonight, so I'm not anticipating any obstacles to keeping today OP all the way.
