Default Thanks to all those who freaked out!

I just wanted to say thankyou to all those people who freaked out at how little calories me and some others were eatting. I figured that if so many people felt that strongly about it, there must be something to it. I was tricking myself into thinking that I was being healty because I was getting in all my fruits and veggies.... but that just wasn't true.

Since then I've upped my calorie intake (which is actually very difficult) and I never go under 1200 anymore. I want to up it to 1500, and I get there some days, but not all. I added a lot of nuts and hummus to get in calories. Also, I started cooking with extra virgin olive oil instead of pam and that helps a lot... plus it tastes amazing!!!

Anyway, I had started to slowly gain weight at under 1000 a day, and now it's all coming back off!!! Even with a weekend of restaurant eatting! Also, I don't feel tired like I used to! I was also getting a lot of headaches, and those are gone. I never realized all those negative side effects were because of the few amount of calories I was consuming, I thought it was just stress from being so busy with school!

So, thank you everyone! At first I thought it seemed too harsh, but now I totally get it!

And anyone else out there eatting under 1200 calories a day... just for one week, please, try to eat more... I know it's hard, but it's totally worth it no matter how counter-intuitive it is!

Have a good night everyone!

So glad you're feeling better. It's scary to see people slide into eating so little that they start to hurt themselves and knowing that there isn't really anything you can do about it.

I'm glad people got through to you, and I'm glad you're seeing results.

Whoo hooo!! I love posts like this. Not because it's any kind of validation, but because it makes me happy to see someone being healthy and "getting" it.

Good for you. I'm so glad it's working!!!

Fantastic. It's easy to write off feeling crappy to other things, but it's good that you now recognize that it was your body trying to shut you down, because you weren't eating enough. Congrats, and best of luck with the rest of your weight loss.

It really does seem hard to understand that we lose weight faster by eating MORE. But, we do. I am glad you are losing again - and in a HEALTHY way
