All the time! Food has ruled my life since forever, Im just trying to reverse that, but for me its always going to be a struggle. Youve come to the right place for help, support and especially somewhere to vent when things get tough.

DiDi -

Good morning! You said you're now calorie counting. I am doing the same. I feel more in control of what I eat. Now that I've been counting for about 3 weeks, it's like a habit .. and that's what I need .. a good habit

BTW, I subscribed to your blog! Keep me informed!

Didi, I fully understand what you're going through. I was on track doing great then I went on vacation for a week then got the flu. Next thing I knew I was binging like crazy for almost a month. I finally got back on track at the end of March, and I know you can do it to. Like Karen said it's all about making it a habit, I got out of habit for a week and a half which threw me for a month.

Am off to go check out your blog.
Just wanted to say that yes, I can definitely relate to that "out of control" feeling...
Hang in there!

I find that blogging has really helped me. I can always go to past posts and read things that make me realize something, or just give me a pick up if I start to waver.

didi~ Sorry about the comment. I accidentally linked back to my personal blog. My 3fc blog is "consuming less, becoming more". I'm still trying to figure out blogger. Argh!

But yes, the sentiment was there. Can't wait to see your before and afters

I did delete it, sorry. It linked back to my other blog. My 3fc blog has bit the dust as well. Boo. I'll still try to keep updated on you, though!

Hey, Didi,

I checked out your blog, and tried to leave a comment but got

"We're sorry, but we were unable to complete your request.

When reporting this error to Blogger Support or on the Blogger Help Group, please:

* Describe what you were doing when you got this error.
* Provide the following error code and additional information.

bX-d5s182"

I will check back from time to time and try to leave a comment later, I guess.

I know that when I sometimes feel overwhelmed by my 'addiction', I do what 'addicts' do: I take it one whatever at a time until my attention can focus onto other things. Right now, I am on day 4 back on the wagon after having fallen off, and I gotta say, I am
r a v e n o u s today. I am upstairs in my office, as far as I can possibly get from the kitchen in this house, and keeping busy checking out stuff on the 'net.

Hang in there!

I checked out your blog and it's great!!
Thanks for the support...it means alot!!
