I'm in going for 16 lbs ... I know its a lot but hey why not go for it and see how close I get
|
I'm with Tavinni! I want to lose 15-16 pounds this challenge. I got a new scale and WHOA do I weigh more than I knew!! That sucked. I'm now at 210. I'm guessing I started anywhere between 215-220 at the end of January...so here's to a better few weeks!
Good luck everyone! |
Exercise, for the most part, is going to end up as a LOT of dog-walking. Not only do I love taking my dogs out, but the dogs benefit greatly too. :D But, when the weather is being cold and nasty (like today) I'm probably going to just clear a spot in my room and do some standard exercises - sit ups, jumping jacks, et cetera. And, finally, I'm going to learn how to belly dance. I certainly have enough belly for it, as I say. :D
Oh, what I came on this thread for! I'm here to report staying right on track for this week so far, and that I've got 1/3 minimum weekly exercises in. That, and I've dropped a pound. 1/10, 9 to go. Yay :df: |
I made my easter challenge with 2 pounds extra. SO i have a head start on my mothers day challenge. I need to loose just 13 more lbs.
|
Yay.. I'm new here but I want to join you all!!!! I want to set a goal of 16 pounds by Mother's Day, that will put me at 240, a number I haven't seen since I was pregnant with #2 (I have 3) in 2003!
|
After struggling and struggling to get on track...always saying I'll start again tomorrow...I am back on track as of yesterday. I'm sticking with a high goal of 20 lbs for Mother's Day, I figure at least the first 5 lbs or so is water weight and should be gone fast. But my current weight is 235 not 229 so 20 lbs will get me to 215.
Best of luck to everyone! |
oo ooo i want in! i am also doing a memorial day goal ( i think that's 2 weeks after mother's day) so i'll go for 10 for this one :D yay good luck to all :D:D:D

Hi, welcome to the new challengers, and good luck to everyone!
Layri, you had a really good week! I'm trying to get my dogs out 3 times a week, but have not been winning the battle with my schedule this week. About the time I get all the other fires put out, and my son through his school work (homeschooling), it's dark. I'm going to keep on trying to build that habit, though. Switzie, so glad you're back on...knew you could do it! I've been eating clean and haven't missed a workout, so that is good. I'm retaining water, I presume due to adding in the weight training this week, which is driving me somewhat mental, but I know it will come off eventually. I'm really enjoying the weight training, despite it's ill effect on the scale. I feel so buff! ;) |
I'm going to go for 135lbs, but to get under 140 would be a goal itself.
|
YAY another 2lbs gone!!!!! over night!!!!! so good to be back on track :)
|
Yay! Good luck to everyone!
Good job irish! I'm retaining water too Jam. It's pretty sucky, eh? I credit mine to my period, not feeling well and higher intensity workouts. I feel like I've been hit by a Mack truck. Yuck. |
