When i'm sick i go for whatever food appeals. I don't care about calories but usually even if I eat crap food (ie chocolate) I'm not eating enough to make a daily calorie count.

for me I look at is as sometimes you just have to indulge, if I gain weight one week then so be it. It took me 11 years to put on the weight I have, and 1 year of losing I am at the half way point. Some weeks I am going to gain but its not like I will wake up with 30 extra pounds on my backside!

I'm in the middle of this nasty flu. The only work out I'm gettng is every 5 minutes to the bathroom. I swear yesterday It would have been productive to just lay in there. So yeah I could care less about food. Anything I eat comes out twice as much. I'm down alot of water weight. I'd like to wish it doesn't come back but I'm sure it will.
I hoping to be in the home stretch here about 2 days with this.

I have been sick with the flu and it has gone into bronichial phenomena. I am very careful to make myself eat...even if i dont want to eat. I am not getting all my water in ...I have not always made the best choices as far as calories go but i have came in close. I had cheetos for lunch today. I havent eaten anything like that in 2 months...i counted them out and just ate one serving. Going to try to increase my water today and slowly start back lifting weights. I cant jump on the minitramp right now becuase it triggers coughing spells. Oh i have lost 7lbs in a 2 weeks.

Well, this past week I've dealt with a pretty nasty cold (runny nose, sore throat, fever, constant cough, et cetera) and I chose to put the 'must diet perfectly, must lose weight this week!!' thing on hold. I didn't exercise, not that I was consistently doing that anyway (weather) and really didn't focus much on my 'diet'. I still counted calories every day, and didn't even get close to going over my calorie limit, but I ate mostly not-so-great things.

I pretty much break down when sick, and didn't have the energy to cook, so I'm not beating myself up about it. The most important thing was to get better, and I focused on that, so now that I'm better I'm right back on track. A week-long break certainly didn't kill me, my diet, or my motivation so I can see myself doing the same next time I get sick.

I'm going through exactly the same thing. I'm so annoyed with being sick, because it's too cold and snowy to go for a walk (I'm in northern Maine) and I don't have the energy for the intense aerobics I usually do. I keep eating crap, though. I really just want to go back to bed and wait to feel better, but unfortunately I teach at a boarding school and my work never ends.

When I don't feel well I just focus on getting better. I try and eat and drink stuff that will make me feel better. Like juice if I have a cold. Then when I feel better I return my focus to dropping pounds.

Bleh, hopefully the cold and snow will soon go away and not come back for a long time... It seems to be quite a problem for many of us.

That sounds awful... I had an advantage with this because I'm an at-home student, and since laying in bed all day is all I felt like doing, I did exactly that. It must be tough with work... Anyway, I hope you get better soon.
