gracey, i hope your legs feel better! Hopefully swimming will be low impact enough not to hurt your leg though!

I've been known to go through periods where i exercise then i don't for a long time....changing that. for the longest time my goal was to improve my running but i could never build up to that...

My new goals are to do this weight regime 6 days a weeks alternating upper and lower body. Once i get better at that and don't take as long to do that i want to add in more cardio and also do a pilates tape that i have at least once a week. Then when spring rolls around, I'm hoping i'll have more muscles and strength from weights and endurance from cardio that I can start running but actually make some personal progress! I will definitely check out the couch to 5k thing that everyone keeps talking about too!

Plus, I live on a hilly campus in the cold so i get a pretty good workout walking to and from classes with my books, sweatshirt, heavy coat, and boots. haha! When it warms up and i remove all the extra weight of winter I'm going to be oh so speedy!

today was my first upper body and i did ALL the reps of ALL the exercises sooo yay me! and now my arms are so worn out and tired. tomorrow is first lower body! (I'm kind of nervous though because i have a lot to do tomorrow school wise and they aren't things i can change so i have to be very self-disciplined to keep working so i have time to work out!)

i knoe the feeling of being busy maggie. i got up at 6:50am today so i could swim. it was worth it though, i feel ok (at the moment) but i have a busy day today. 4 mile walk, filming in tv studio (on campus) and my parents are coming down, so well be going out and doing stuff there too.
managed to do 35 lengths today 7 more then last time, and i was not quicker really, but i did not get so achy in my body this time, and i was less out of breath and so stopped less which was good.
running on the weekend, hopefully i can find my running trainers, instead of having to do it in inapropriate footware again.
whens everyone else next exercise?
