Default Great for pre-planned meals

I hope I'm allowed to post this. I'm assuming yes since the site is not directly selling anything, but it's helped me so much and I thought you all might be able to use it as well.

I found on the Slim Fast website that they have a meal plan that you can customize. If you let the computer do the planning, of course the have Slim Fast shakes or meal bars for one or two of your meals and at least one snack, but you can choose from many different options on several different calorie levels (1300, 1500, 1700, 1900, and 2100 I think). You can actually get an entire week of planned meals with or without the Slim Fast products, and it will print out a shopping list for you and give you the nutritional breakdown of the meals and everything! There's even a place to track your water intake and exercise if you want to, and there's a section for journaling as well. AND IT'S FREE! I love free.

So if you're tired of logging everything into Fit Day, this is a good alternative for a bit. Hope it helps!

Oh, I forgot to add...I'm a vegetarian as well and they even have great meal ideas for vegetarians - a little low on the protein for my preferences, but good meal ideas nonetheless.

Kraft Foods offers the same type of service on their website. I like browsing the low-cal recipes for ideas.

Thanks for the tips!

When I get tired of logging I break it down into meals.......limit 300 each for breakfast and lunch, 600 dinner. Then I only have to think 3 times a day LOL.
