Hey there Counters. I'm officially back on plan. LOL My TOM came last week, and I went literally hog wild! I ate everything in site, but didn't manage to gain. Not too shabby. I cannot believe it is already October!!

My goals for this month, is to go down 5 lbs (trying to be realistic). Or lose 2 inches.

Drink more water

Get back into my old routine of exercising, it made a tremendous difference.

That's about it from this end. LOL

Irish- Wow 12 lbs is something to be proud of!! Yes we CAN do it!! The holidays are around the corner. Jogging is great, work slowly though, that's what helped me. I alternated walking and jogging using 2 mins intervals in the beggining. I need to work on that as well.

Well take care everyone!!!

Hey Irishfairy sounds like you are on track to succeed again, nothing like a fresh month for a fresh start (gosh, October already!)

Tinky I'll bet the exercising and being in shape helped you to not put on the lbs, at least TOM is gone now. I really should exercise more, but little steps little steps...

CoolMom good luck with your goal, and good luck with your calories, sounds like a plan.

Can't believe it's October already! I don't think I'm ready,

Am back in school this week so I just need to focus on walking during my lunch breaks at work, eating good, and hopefully adding some weights this week too. Ate poorly at the in-laws yesterday (overdid it at a bbq) but hoping that due to the two days prior being lower than my goal that it will even out. Today should be good as dinner isn't decided but it will be one of two things that are a lot better for me than bbq. Take care ladies, happy October!

I finally had a loss for my weigh-in, in spite of my extra eating this last week! Fluids must be shifting. It gives me the boost I needed have another loss next week.

So that would be 150.8 at home, and 153.5 at my TOPS meeting.

Good luck Miles and Tinky!

It's been a few weeks since I posted. Nothing like a new month to get back on track.

My goals for October:

stay within 1600 calories
drink 64 oz water ea day
fewer beers (over did it last month)
exercise at least 4x's a week.
have a loss of 6lbs. so that would put me at: 187.

Bridgette.

Hi everybody, I hope October is going well so far. I'm doing great, I've dropped a few more pound and of course I'm happy about that. I'm getting in my walking and light weight training and I can't be how much lighter I feel already. I don't see it all that much but I feel it.

CoolMom75 great news about the scales moving for you!

baker63 welcome and good luck with your goals, glad to have you here too

The bad thing about Monday night weigh-ins is that I work every other weekend, and I seem to retain a lot of water and get a bit constipated after working. 12 hour shifts and so busy. I woke up with puffy eye lids. I hope my weigh in is okay tonight!

dream710 - glad to see you here and back on track, sounds like you are off to a great start.

baker - I am with you there, exercise is the hardest part for me. My eating is easier to keep under control (ok well obviously not in the long term...) I'm going for walking now, on my lunch hour at work on the two days I don't have class at lunch. Pop in my ipod and the 40 minutes passes wonderfully. I find calories burned during the walk are pretty low (100ish) but I feel better and think it is making a difference in the losing.

kimmieone - know what you mean, but how you feel is i think more important than how look, and your body will catch up with how you feel.

CoolMom - that's no fun, I hate workin weekends. Just drink water and get plenty of sleep when you can.

Doing well here. Lost another lb after last week. I have a 1473 average for the last week, and 1609 for past month, so am doing pretty well. Managed to get a walk in on Friday, and 30 minutes on the bike over the weekend. I tried a little weight lifting but I'm not sure I did enough to count it for anything, I'm still getting used to it again so I'll have to keep trying in short bursts. I used to have no problem but guess I let all my muscles go away

Hui new here , just started counting cals last week. Having a hard time counting them on the weekend. Trying to write everything down I guess is my first step. I have done ww but find it hard due to all the calculating you have to do with the slider. I do workout 3 times a week with weights and 1/2 hr of cardio than walk on the other 2-3 days. We usually get in 3miles as of lately we use to do 4-5. The exercising I have down just need help with the counting of cals.

Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Red face

Hello everyone. I'm getting back on track with counting calories, but I am also stepping it up a notch for a month and doing the WW Points as well. At least for the first 10 to 20 lbs.

I've had a bad couple of months and a horrible eating weekend. I woke up with a junkfood hangover and now I am constipated, grrrrrrr.... TMI I know, but I saw this area of the forum and decided to get it on track and post with you all.

My goal is:
Min Daily Intake 1170
Max Daily Intake 1560

Plus I am going to try and get at least a 30 minute walk or bike ride in everyday.

Wish me luck! I have to lose 50 by Feb so I can get my wedding dress!

Today I consumed 1339. Not to bad AND I stayed within points!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA lately, I had a lot of things going on. I'm back to working out, doing it everyday lately. Which is good, since the weather has been pretty cool, I just don't want to gain anything. LOL! Well I've been eating ok, but need to watch it. We had Thai food on Friday evening, talk ABOUT rich! It was good, but didn't make me feel good afterwards. Yesterday DF took me to this seafood/sushi buffet. I'm a SUSHI fanatic, so I was in heaven! LOL! I thought I deserved it since I worked out hard yesterday. LOL!
Well I will catch up later tonight!
