Don't throw in the towel for today. I would suggest eating a sensible lunch and dinner. I'm not sure what your calorie allotment for the day is, so you may go over but I wouldn't use the big breakfast as a rationale for an all day splurge. Just get back on plan with lunch.

Good luck!

I'd say: start again next meal, not tomorrow, with healthy, normal foods--much like you would have done on a 'completely OP day'. I think it would do less damage than giving yourself a whole day of not counting/not being careful (that's an accident waiting to happen for many of us, unfortunately), while at the same time not making you feel like you're totally depriving yourself. Unless, of course, the rest of your alloted calories for the day can still provide good enough quality & quantity for your regular 2 meals, in which case staying within that range would still be possible (but I don't know how much that alloted intake is for you, so this is to be taken with a grain of salt).

Agreed. Don't NOT eat today, but don't throw in the towel. Eat sensibly. You may be off by a few hundred calories at the end of the day, but if you let yourself really go, that number could quickly inflate!

Maybe try to get in a little extra exercise too!

Plan a healthy breakfast/lunch for tomorrow and have it on hand. Make sure it's something that tastes good so you aren't craving anything else.

deffinitally stay on plan today! And yeah I would definitally plan a good day tomorrow to compensate. Its okay I had apple pie and cookies last night! I woke up 1 1/2 pounds lighter, but I probably won't see the dessert until tomorrow.
