"lumifan4ever", omg! It is so wierd I got on this page b/c I have just really starting commenting and exploring 3FC! I have I.C. also, and I got diagnosed a year ago, but really it has been getting worse or having "flare ups" more often. I don't really know what I can and cannot eat except sausage (which I love!) I have only ate a couple boca burgers and actually like them, and I guess it was alright.
just wanted to let you know someone else w/ IC was on here!
Good Luck!

Maalisse,

In case you didn't find the protein pancake recipe, here it is:

Equal parts egg whites, cottage cheese, and oatmeal, with a little vanilla and splenda (or sugar). Blend or put in food processor. Cook as you would any pancakes. If you do 1/3 cup of each, you get 3 pancakes. 190 calories for all 3 pancakes and 22 grams of protein. I usually do 1 cup of each so that I have enough batter to last a few days.

Stupid IC!! I'm sorry you have it, too, but it's awesome that you chanced upon this thread. If you ever need more info about IC or the IC diet (which doesn't help everyone, but it's the biggest factor for me in controlling my IC), feel free to PM me and I can hook you up with some links.

I eat alot of eggwhites, chicken breast and lowfat fish. Check the labels on the high protien cereals. The ones I've looked at all get there protein from soy. I can't eat soy either.

Kashi Go Lean Cereal has 13g protein per serving at 1 cup for 200 cals, also has 5g fibre.

Eden Organics has rye spirals pasta for 270 calories per 1 and 1/4 dry serving, 11g protein, 8g fibre.

Rice milk and rice cheese also tend to have high protein contents, though I don't have any numbers in my head at the moment.
