almost to mini goal for Easter!!
 
I can't believe it!!! It has been so long since I was this close to making a weight loss goal! A LONG WAY TO GO for the big picture...but getting there slowly but surely!!!!!

ok here's my plan for the rest of the week -- i'm going to be really, really good wednesday and thursday and then weigh-in friday morning. i hope that i see 140 again. that's what im hopin for! ;-) I bet if I keep my calories super low the next two day, it will average out to 1200 and i will see a drop. (I purposely pigged out somewhat on sunday so that i could calorie cycle this week)

I weighed in this morning at 140.5 and am going to try, try, try this week to be extra good. Don't know if I'll make the goal, but hope to get really close (goal is 136).

Great Job to those of you who have made goal!

Allison -- you are I are *so* in the same boat. We're both 5'8" and I weighed in at 140.6 this morning. I think it's a lot harder since we are close to goal - aarrggghhh!!!! What I would give to see a nice 2lb ***whoooooshhhh*** off the scale...

PS. 138 lbs is my Easter goal... 5 days to go! :o

I suppose it will be lots of salads and sushi for the next few days :chef: to try to de-tox my body and drop 2 more lbs! :chin: I'll have to be extra-careful and meticulous with the calorie numbers, since I've been pretty carefree with measurements, etc. in the recent past... :p

My Easter Goal was to reach 166lbs...I didn't think I could do it the last couple weeks I hit a plateau...This morning the scales briefly showed me 167!! So maybe JUST MAYBE Sunday morning I can briefly hit 166....

I'm holding steady at 140.5 which is a whole lot better than last week! Although I doubt I'll see my goal of 136, 138 is certainly do-able!

Hello again , havent posted for awhile .So here goes.

My easter goal is 199 ,as of saturday i was 204( was very excited) but this morning i am back at 207. I know i have slacked off with writing everthing down. I suppose this is my problem with e very diet i have tried, i start off very good then it slide. This is the biggest weight loss for me so far though.
(8lbs ) As the weight gain has just been a slow and steady creep (basically since getting married) why is that????
Anyways tuesday,back on track .....here goes nothing 199.

Any tips/opinions etc all greatly appreciated.

Firast of all you didn't gain 3 pounds over night. It is probably water retention if you do not drink enough water your bady will hold on to it. So try to get 2 liters everyday (i usually don'y but i TRY ;) )

As for losing weight you have lost 11 pounds so far that is nothing to frown at. i know it can get very discouraging but if we keep at it we can do it. I have been at this a little over 1 year and I still get VERY frustratted at times

And the hubby thibg I think we try to keep up with them wich equals weight gain for us with all the cals they consume. I know I started snacking more at night> I always snacked at night but but instead of a small bowl of chips we would share a BIG bag and so on.

I'm kind of excited! I weighed in at 139 this morning, but refuse to change my ticker until it stays there for another day or two. Perhaps I'll be close for my Easter challenge. If not,

As some of you may have seen (on the thread I started in this forum), this week has not been so great for me. Don't think I will be reaching my ultimate goal weight for Easter. :(

BUT...the good news is that today was a great day, I got right back on plan and I feel a lot better about myself. It may take me a little longer, but I WILL get there.

As of this morning, I am 138.5!! Putting my ticker at 139, though. Won't move it down unless the weight stays steady or goes down. No way will I make my goal (136) but I am so happy to be under 140!

This morning I was at 133 and it is also TOm time but I will see what the scale says this weekend after eating cake for my girls bday this weekend. Oh and frozen yogurt and ham......need I continue.lol

Well, I am 144 as of this morning.

I was 140.6 a few days ago.... major water retention. I just feel like not eating for 2 days just so that I can maybe see 139... I know that sounds crazy but I am feeling bad that I slacked off so much in the past few weeks. I mean, I actually ate french fries and ice cream yesterday! What was I thinking... :?:

OK - it's not the end of the world. I've got 2 days to prove to myself that I can stay on track. Whatever happens, happens. If I see goal, then wonderful. If i don't, then at least I will know that for the last 2 days of the challenge I was discliplined enough to try to make a change.

We'll see what happens Sunday morning.

OK here is my plan. I am restricting my calories for the last two days of the challenge (Friday and Saturday) I am going to drink plenty of tea and water to get rid of the water retention and eat few calories to calorie-cycle myself back into a 1300 average for the week. Then I'll step on the scale Easter Sunday morning and see what the results are! Either way I won't be disaspointed *IF* I stick to my de-tox/few-calorie/plan regimine for today and tomorrow.

My Easter Goal was to hit 190. I changed that mid way and decided that I wanted to get to 188.5 because that was closer to my end of April goal. I did get to my 190 which was my original (and probably wiser) goal. I am considering my Easter goal a success. Who knows I may be down 1.5 by Sunday yet, but I guess if I do that will just be considered gravy. Having halibut for supper. My meals are all planned for tomorrow since I am going out before the hockey game I preplanned the whole day. I even accounted for a couple lite beer just in case. I Need to get on the water for today.

OK I did well today... stuck to my plan of no junk food. The most high-calorie thing I had today was the ranch dressing I ate with my salad. YAY. OK... one more day till Easter Goal. If I can be extra good tomorrow, I shall see what the scale says Sunday morning. I know Easter is just another day, but I want to see what happens if I stick to this to try to get the water retention off... that reminds me -- better go drink some more water & tea! Wow! I guess not only did I make my original goal of 190. I made my revised goal of 188.5. I actually passed it by one half and tomorrow is the end of the challenge. I will definetly stay on track today! Next Goal is to get to 182.5 by April 30. If I can do that, I will have lost half of my total weight goal.

Thanks, Nicker! I was actually lower than this in November, but those darn holidays messed me up! It's taken me since Christmas to get back on track and really lose. It is a long haul, but I'm up for it now! Nothing more motivating than seeing the scale go DOWN!!

When I posted my goal my 12P levis fit perfectly....yesterday I was out wearing a pair of sz 10 gap jeans!! Perfect fit!! didn't have to squeeze into them at all!!

That will put me at 136 (where I was at Thanksgiving!).

This was my goal, but I came up a tad bit short. 138. I'm NOT complaining though!!!

Didn't quite make goal -- one pound away.

Lost 5 lbs., though, so can't complain.

Scale said 188.4 this morning up a touch from yesterday but still made the Easter goal of 188.5. Cut it close there!

I made my goal and passed it by 1 pound I am 134. sorry I didn't get to post yesterday It was my my kids bday party so we had to straighten up and all that lovely stuff.


Easter goal 135 weigh in at 134.
