Easter Challenge!!!
Ok, after slacking on the V-Day challenge, I really need to get back on board and stop eating cruddy and being lazy.
To reinspire myself, I'm using Easter Sunday as a new challenge date. Anyone want to join me? I'll set my goal at 10 lbs again and keep my fingers crossed! |
I'll join you! I neglected my scale for over a month and finally got on it the other day. I wasn't too thrilled about the numbers, although it was lower than I had expected it to be.
My goal is 15 pounds (maybe more). Good Luck! |
Can I join? Since Easter is 7 weeks away, I would like to lose 7-14 lbs. :D I am going to try to cap my calories a 1500 max everyday and do turbojam 4 days a week.
|
Count me in! I want to drop 7 lbs for the "Easter Challenge" so I am sticking an average of 1200 calories per day. I've been in a plateu for quite some time, so I am going to really stick to this challenge and get it done! Good luck to all you ladies!
|
I'll go for 7lbs too!
|
I'm up for the challenge....let's see April 8th.....6 pounds will be my goal.
That will put me at 136 (where I was at Thanksgiving!). |

I am happy to report that I am well on my way toward meeting my Easter goal!!! Yesterday I moved my ticker from 142 to 140 and this morning, the scale was 140.5 (I knew 2 pounds was too much to hope for!). Anyway, that loss makes me so much more confident!
|
Great Motivation! KEEP IT UP!
Ladies! :hat:
This is excellent -- we can do it! Let's make sure we are extra dilligent in recording our foods and that we stay under our allowed number of calories so we can ensure success as much as possible. I know, for myself, that if I can achieve this goal I will feel so very motivated and inspired that it will probably spill over to other aspects of my life as well! :goodvibes 7 lbs in 7 weeks - I will do my very best! :queen: Good luck to all of the ladies who are joining me in this challenge - WE CAN DO IT! Let's make sure to check back in daily if possible to support eachother and ensure we are not falling off track or getting un-motivated. Thanks to everyone! :hyper: Good luck!!! :grouphug: |
I need a challenge. I'm going to aim for 7 pounds as well :)

I would like to join in as well. My goal is to lose 10 pounds. I think the challenge will be a good incentive for me.
|
No change yet but I've been working out every day. My exercise goal it to burn a minimum of 500 cals a day. So far I've managed to surpass that and keep my calories in check so hopefullly the scale will move again.
|
I'm in.
EASTER GOAL = lose 6 lbs. EASTER GOAL WEIGHT = 147 lbs. That will put me at my ultimate goal weight!!! :carrot: |
I'll go for 15 by Easter. That will take me to 130 and while my initial goal was 135 by May 1, I think I'm going to meet and exceed that. I really want to get to 120-125.
|
Great job, Ladies! Kepp it up! I myself have been trying to substitute more fish & veggies in where I was eating cold cuts & bread before -- EXCELLENT! WE CAN DO IT! Let's make sure to stick to it... great job thus far everyone -- we're on our way!!!!!!! Everyday that we eat healthy and keep our calories in check is getting us closer and closer to shedding those GOAL pounds! Yippeee!!!
PS. Don't you just love looking at the WEEK/2WEEK calories averages on FitDay? It really helps to get me motivated when I see the numbers start to slowly lower... this will equate to loss on the scale... I can't wait to check back in tomorrow to see how everyone is doing with their EASTER CHALLENGE... Way to go everyone!!!! |
i am new to these boards and i am going to jump in with both feet and say i'm in for 10 by easter
|
I will try this again! I tried the Valentine challenge and wasn't too successful. Someone stated earlier that all the Spring clothes are out and I have seen them too. I am ready to go shopping, but refuse until I get rid of some weight. My goal for Easter is to be down 10lbs.
Goal weight loss: 10lbs. Goal weight: 150 |
Gah~perhaps it is my body getting back at me for that 5k race yesterday, but my ticker weight is not correct. I'm back up to 142 this morning. Like FloridaRusty, it is either that or the wine!
|
I am in!! My Easter Sunday goal is 9.5 pounds to put me at an even 190 pounds.
|
COunt me in too please. I am new but this would be a great start. I want to lose 15 by easter (just to get under that 200 number):( That may be too much at just over 2 pounds a week . HEre goes nothing:carrot: :carrot:

|
Ladies! I'm going to made a table that has everyone's name, what they want to lose and their goal-weight and post it tomorrow! So, if you are up for the Easter Challenge (April 8th) please post your GOAL in the format of:
POUNDS TO LOSE = x lbs GOAL WEIGHT = x lbs Thanks!!! |
POUNDS TO LOSE = 7 LBS
GOAL WEIGHT = 136.5 Hi all, Yes, to the challenge! I really need the motivation, and am shooting for 5 lbs. by St. Patty's, so this will keep me going after that. I started to get serious about losing in January. About 4 years ago I came down with very achey joints and muscles, fatique, and tingly hands and feet. It was pretty severe for about 6 months, and I virtually stopped exercising. Before this happened, I had been very active and exercised pretty intensely. I did resume exercise eventually, but it is much lighter, mostly walking. I was tested for MS, had blood work for numerous things, but I never got any diagnosis. I am MUCH better now, but in the last 2 years I have gained 20 lbs, which feels like a lot on my frame. It's still frustrating to me that I can't do all the things I used to, but I just want to be as healthy as possible, lose the extra weight, and get my fitness up. Sorry so long, just wanted to introduce myself a little since I'm fairly new here... even though I've been posting away! This challenge will help motivate me to meet those goal. Thanks!! |
Nicker
Pounds to lose 9.5 Goal Weight for challenge 190 |
I forgot to come back and post my starting weight: 128.4. Ew. I don't know how that happened. But whatever. So my goal by Easter is 121.4. 7 lbs. Tomorrow is actually weigh in for me so hopefully it'll have gone down a little.
|
Well I guess I should post in the proper format too...
POUNDS TO LOSE = 7 lbs GOAL WEIGHT = 121.4 lbs |
pounds to lose = 7
easter goal weight = 140 ultimate goal weight= 130 |
Well I posted my goal earlier but do not know what formay I used so here it is
POUNDS TO LOSE =4 GOAL WEIGHT = 135 (MY FIRST GOAL BEFORE i REVALUATE) |
POUNDS TO LOSE = 6 lbs
GOAL WEIGHT = 136 lbs The scale is still not cooperating this morning. Will be extra good today!! |
pounds to lose = 15lbs
goal weight by april 8 = 197 :carrot: |
Well I joined the 40 days and 40 nights challenge so hopefully it will help me make my goal and maybe surpase it. I do not want to up how much I am aiming to lose I just want to hit my first goal the reevaluate from there but I do know I will want to lose more.
|
I wanna join in on this challenge too. I'd like to lose 12lbs by Easter and I've been losing at a rate of between 2-2.5lbs per week so it is sort of realistic and sort of far-off at the same time!
We can do it!!!:carrot: |
