I am thinking a St. Paddy's Challenge. Since St. Paddy's is half way between now and Easter. I want to lose half of my Easter Challenge weight by then. Baby steps.

Today has been a bad day. Head hunger today. :cookie::cbg: I just told that head to shut up though. :censored: Since it also was hurting a lot today :headache: I took a little nap and at least then I didn't feel like eating. I will also be going to bed early because of the headache so only a couple more hours of fighting the urge to eat. I think this is the first time in my seven week journey that the head hunger has gotten to me. Usually I am either satisfied or actually hungry. The actual hunger usually is right around meal time or a planned snack so it has been okay so far. If I get hungry about bed time I just go to bed. |
I have to say that after just one day of being on this site...I already feel more motivated!! Had a really good day! Thanks everyone!

Thrusday has been my weigh in day and this morning I am down a pound :D it's a start!! My workouts have been sparse this week...tomorrow I WILL get a good one in.
Haven't had breakfast yet...what's everyone eating today...I am always desperate for good snack ideas!! (I'm home with my kids and daytime snacking a big challenge for me. |
I'm not familiar with how the challenge works, do we log our weight in a particular thread each week? Do we just change our tickers? Is there a certain weigh in day?

I'm down a pound :) but I'm not logging it becasue I don't trust my scale. It's been going haywire for a while now and I finally decided to replace it. It was cheap anyway. So I won't count it until I recieve my new scale but I see progress which is helping to keep me motivated :)

I am between 139 and 138 so no budge until I am down a whole pound but my officlau weight in day is sunday so maybe by then.

I was having a decent day...but got to hungary at lunch time and reached for cheese and bread...small amounts of both but cheese and bread nonetheless. I managed to get an abbreviated workout in this morning...not a banner week for me on the exercise!! |
Today was weigh in... I'm down 1.25, which is very good for me! I am keeping the challenge in mind and it's great motivation!

This is strange , its that tom and i am still down 5 pounds. Normally i go up ,maybe because of all the water i am drinking. I guess i shouldnt question it. Also wish me luck , i am off to vegas next week and its going to be hard to stay on track, but we will be doing lots of walking......

determined - I started with what I weighed at the beginning of the challenge. My "7 lb loss" ticker won't be moving for another few pounds, since that's a couple pounds out of date.
However, I wanted my easter ticker to reflect my weight loss from the day of the start of the challenge. It would be a bit depressing to have to wait 3 more pounds to start moving it! |
Hi there...Just checking in!! Having a nice weekend but a little too much revolving around food...lazagne dinner at my SIL's ooohhhh so good. I don't make lazagne and this was really delicious. I mangaged to stay away from cake for dessert and just had a cookie. Otherwise it has all been about portion control. Will get my water in today and a good solid workout!!
I really really want to move my ticker this week...when does everybody weigh in? Do you mostly weigh once a week or do yiou weigh in daily? Hope everyone is having a good, light weekend!!:goodvibes |
i am down a pound well almost 2 but it is not quit on 137 so hopefully next week. I am also down 1.75 inches.

Trying to tip the scales below 200. Next goal will be dd's Communion in May where I will shoot for another 5-6.

Today I'm having a good day so far...yogurt and berries for breakfast...I'm heading toward a salad with some wasa bread and cheese for lunch. I really want to make to the end of this challenge...I've been stuck for so long! |
My calories were high over the weekend but it's now a new week and i am on track again

My cals have been to low I am just not hungry. If it wasn't for eating frozen yogurt and having a hot chocolate I would of been under 1000 cals yeasterday. I have just been sooooooooo thirsty and not hungry.

I did ok this weekend. I haven't weighed in yet this week because I was waiting until af left ;-)
I think I stayed under about 1800 calories this weekend for sure. I did splurge for a little piece of cake on Saturday (hey..you only live once right?) Doing good today so far...just had a slim fast shake, yogurt w/ granola, and a lean cusiine entree. |

Just curious...what day does everybody weigh in...do you weigh just once a week (which I'm trying to do) or do you weigh compulsively everyday(like a normally do)?

Healthy Living : I weigh almost once per day. Some days I don't because I have a bad feeling that the scale will show a higher number so I don't even bother. :dizzy:

You guys are inspiring me to keep going despite not trusting my scale :( I've decided that I can't weigh myself until my new scale arrives b/c my old one is absolutely insane. The stress of finals and papaers is causing me to nervous eat but I've been good about not having any crap around so I'm nervously eating cucumbers, tomatoes, and carrots. I think I should be ok :) |
