Thumbs up Fitday vs. Nutridiary?

Your opinions please?

I've been using Fitday since 2001, and of course I am used to it and comfortable with it. However, I just took a look at Nutridiary and it seems to have a lot more options, charts and graphs and a whole lot more technical! (Also seems more difficult, but like I said I am used to Fitday)

So, what do you use and what are your thoughts on it?

TIA!

I use the fitday pc version that I paid for and downloaded. I really like it - it has alot of charts and graphs and alot more functionality than the online version.

I use the fit day version. I have the paid one.. and I don't like it!! To me it seems so confusing. I suppose I am difficult with change and fitday online is sooo easy for me..

I really like nutridiary for a lot of the reasons you mentioned. I tried both out and liked how info was presented, as well as the kind of info about foods... for example, how many calories in a banana? Nutridiary notes sizes (sm med large) and weights of a lot of foods.

I also pay for the increased database with TONS of restaurant items and the ability to easily export data.

One downside is the site management is sometimes awol for a while...

Just to throw another into the mix I use calorie-count.com

I prefer it as it lists things from here in the UK. The others I cant use for most things as they are not in there!

It isn't very fancy, no bells and whistles, but it does the job.

I tried using NutriDiary, but i gave up, im sticking with my fitday--much simpler. The way you have to add foods on NutriDiary is too time consuming (my computer is uber slow..lol)

I'm bad with consistency and rarely use it anymore, but I started out with Nutridiary when I first began my journey and lasted a whopping 6 days. It is cool though to log in and see what I ate my first week of my journey. I checked out Fitday later, and I preferred Nutridiary, although I currently use the database in my brain to keep track of everything. But I believe most of the gals on here swear by Fitday. I think I just didn't like the way Fitday looked. I used it for 2 days, so Nutridiary is my victor. I also believe Fitday is the less confusing of the two.

I have tried both, but I found Nutridiary to be confusing and like stated before, many questions for the staff go unanswered for many days. Fitday is very easy to use.

Thanks for all the input guys!

I decided to stick with Fitday. I contemplated the PC version, however, I like being able to log on both at work and home and do my entries. Unless they have a feature where you can "sync" the two versions (online to pc). Anybody know if that can be done?

Fitday is basic and has what I need. It's gotten me this far!

I'm no rocket scientist so I started with fitday and I'm keeping it
I also like that you can link the online one here. It really helps to have other folks assess your eating.

I prefer fitday. I created an account on nutridiary and quickly lost interest because it was confusing. I've been using fitday for almost a year, so I'm very comfortable with it.

I have a question for adding in the activities at Fitday? When I look on all of your Fitday accounts, I see some people add in sleeping, showering, and then your general work and exercise for the day. I'm really confused what is the correct way to add your activities in, or does it really make a difference? Thank you for any help!
