I don't worry about throwing away the yolks -- I think buying a dozen eggs is cheaper than the equivalent in egg whites... is that right??? -- if so, then I am throwing out the yolk, but saving money...

I don't buy the cartoned eggs because there are ingredients in there that are not eggs.

Um....I eat yolks.

They have a lot of healthy stuff in them. I'm not trying for low fat though. That then I understand.

What's in the yolk that's healthy? I'm curious. I know the protein is in the whites but I don't know what the yolks could offer.
