Talking hey everyone, a lil help please...

Hi,
My names Aggie, im new to this part of 3fc, i used to post on LA weight loss but decided to do a leap of faith and try a different weight loss plan...anyway, i have a few concerns, maybe someone can help me out...

i joined a gym recently with a friend, we go 4 times per week, doing aerobics, cardio, pretty much any class they offer, kick boxing, dance so forth, or a jog/walk on the treadmill, plus weights...i would say its about 1.5 hrs per work out...also i try and walk everywhere, im a student so its frequent, and i have a dog, so i take her for a half hour walk daily, plus taking stairs any time i can, lol...i try and eat a low calorie, below 1500 daily intake diet...my only concern is whether im getting enough calories, ive never stuck to an "execise" program before, but from LA weight loss i know they increased ur cals if u did more than 4 hrs per week of vigorous exercise...as for my diet, im cutting out most meat, personal choice, substituting with tofu, fish, eggs, and cottage cheese...i eat whole grain breads, cereals, sometimes pastas...nuts, low fat milk, and some soy products...lots of fresh veggies and fruits...everything in moderation...for snacks i eat pressed fruit bars...sometimes i throw in a luna...Just wondering, if i should up the cals, by upping the protein? any suggestions?
Wish everyone a great day!

At 1500, you're getting enough calories.

You didn't mention how long you've been doing the regular exercise and if you have or have not lost any weight doing so. I'd monitor what you are eating (how many calories as well as the %of fat, protein and carbs) and how much you exercise. Do this for a week and also monitor how you feel (tired/energized, hungry/satisfied) each day. After you do this for a week, look back and analyze all of it and then up your calories if you feel you need to.
