Yeah, I spent quite a while trying to kind of mentally prepare myself for the temporary weight gain. It's still not fun to see the scale go up, but I know it's for a good cause and I know it's just temporary. Now, the soreness on the other hand... Sheeeeeeeeeesh. I'll be glad when I can walk down my stairs without clutching the bannister again.

Hey gals! I'm finally getting over my cold (almost two weeks later) and will start walking again this weekend. Despite the lack of exercise, i've managed to lose 2 lbs this week. It makes me wonder what I can accomplish with the soup & cracker diet! LOL. I hope everyone is doing well this week! I'm reallyexcited, 2 more pounds to go to make to 'when I got married' weight in 2001!!! My next mini goal will be 'when I met my husband' weight from 1999 (155).

Well the end of the week wasn't as perfect as the first half but at this point I am relieved I didn't gain. All I have seen in the past 6 months is the scale moving up so getting it to just stop is a level of success. I will be so glad when I actually consistently start losing again. It will come, I am on the right track and having your head in the right spot is most of the battle.

Up 0.4 pounds from last week, which isn't optimal, of course, but I don't really mind. I lost a TON of weight last week, so I'm just happy to maintain that loss, especially since I started lifting weights this week. Hope everyone else is more successful!

To my surprise, weighd in this morning and down another pound! that is -3 pounds on the 'soup and cracker' diet. Now that I've started eating solid foods, I thought that I would put on what i've lost, but i'm holdng steady! Now I have to concentrate on getting rid of the flab (abs and arms)! I've got to introduce weight training sometime soon. Best wishes to everyone!
