I'm looking forward to another good week. I went to 2 baby showers this weekend, but didn't eat too badly. I filled up on salad at the first shower. No veggies to be found at the second shower, so I took the top slice of bread off of the tea sandwiches.
I got in a run outside today - it was an unseasonable 40-something degrees this morning. I'll be back to getting cardio at the gym later this week - we're going back in the freezer.
Okay- here we go Team- week 2!
What will be your focus for this week?
Water intake? Exercise? Food choices? Portion size?
There is so much that goes into the lifestyle change. And it is different for each of us. What works for me, may not work for you. That's why your have to be adventurous, embrace the change, and be willing to try new things.
I need to s@ck it up and start walking the dog n a regular basis. I wimped out this past week because I was tired and I'm tired of the snow. Not a chance this week.
Congratulations to AyeAye, Dogpaws, KimL, and SugarRox and the whole RED Team!!!!
I didn't get a budge this week and I'm ever so grateful. I had been in a slow but steady gaining mode since last summer, putting on 9 lbs. Now it's time to take it off and then some!
holy cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! red team lost over 100 pounds this week!!
just STOP and think about that for just a second or two!!
TOGETHER....we have lost one of the below!!!
A small deer,
a large goat,
a large dog,
a miniature horse,

a medium alligator,
a decent-sized pumpkin,
a moped,
a chair,
a toilet,
a small table,
a large flowerpot filled with dirt,
a 13 year old child,
a 100 pound weight.

Any suggestions on how to up the water intake and combat peeing every 10 mins. I'm hardly drinking anything during work because I know I don't have time to stop and pee constantly lol
I also have issues with the water intake, so I will be awaiting those tips.
Although my last T-dap was in 2006, I managed to pick up whooping cough (I blame public transportation). Ever try to exercise with whooping cough? Not happening. It's been about 8 weeks, so I should be almost over this thing. I can't wait.
Until then, it's count every calorie.
I'm so sick of being sick. Ugh. I hate when school starts back after Christmas. With all 4 of us in school, we have a nice long run of the sickies every year. Mine seems to finally have made it to strictly above the neck stuff, so it's back on track tomorrow!
Plan A is that I will leave at 5 AM to head to the indoor track and run before class. There's a fairly decent chance we'll be flooded in, so Plan B is a workout video or two. I've got 30 Day Shred and a couple of Bob's DVDs that I haven't used at all yet.
This will be the first full week of the semester, so I'll see how well I manage everything. Those 5 AM mornings twice a week are gonna be hard! It's the only time I have to run though, and the half marathon is rapidly approaching.

I've found that my body adjusts. After a couple of weeks, I stopped needing to pee all the time.
