Thank you for all the great support team ! So hubby signed the contract for the new job on Friday and we have a moving date. He'll be starting the beginning of September so we have a good amount of time to get everything in order on this end. We'll be moving from Seattle to Boston. It's a great opportunity for us.... it will be a fun adventure.

Have a great Monday and Tuesday Bluesers... will be back Wednesday.

Woo-hoo, Blue Team, another weigh-in won! We did really well this week, congrats to everyone. Of course major props to takingcontrol and all the Honorable Mentions!!

I'm planning to make this a GREAT week exercise and nutrition-wise. I have to admit that last week I did way too much snacking without logging it into MFP. I snagged handfuls of M&M's, bites of mac & cheese and stuffing, etc., thinking that if I only had a few I didn't need to bother logging. Well, "a few" sure adds up when you're not logging and I really need to stop doing that. I've been going back and forth between 181 and 179 for at least a couple of weeks now and I am tired of it. I know I have only myself to blame so I am turning it around this week. I will stay within calorie goal (1400) every day, drink my 8 glasses of water every day, and exercise at least 6 days this week. I will not snack (more like sneak) foods that I don't log. Those are the week's goals and I will stick to them!!

I'm not holding out much hope that I'll have a great weigh-in next week as TOM will be here in a couple of days, but at least I will be back on track. I also need to be better about checking in here more often & responding to posts. You ladies are all doing so well & are very inspiring. Keep up the fantastic work!!

ak812, grabbing bites here and there is like doing the food samples at Costco. There's not much to them but they really add up.

Hey everyone. Just got back from a five day trip to my in-laws' lake place. I'm missing exercise like crazy! Did some swimming of course, but I'm ready to get back to business! Hope you're all well!

Hey team!
I need a kick in the pants. Dealing with this medical crap has my anxiety high and I'm stress eating way too much. And I *know* it and I think I'm cutting myself too much slack! I have another biopsy to schedule and don't want to eat my way thru it!
The good news is my back is definitely improving. I walked 3.4 miles this morning almost at my pre-injury pace. I was kinda hurting the last half mile or so but felt good after getting home and icing my back. Today was the first day I went most of the day without anti inflammatories! Yay!

Happy Tuesday team!

I stuck to all of my goals yesterday & am hoping I can keep the same resolve up for the rest of the week. TOM arrived bright and early this morning though. I am determined to keep exercising through it ... I've heard that a healthier diet and exercise routine can help lessen cramps and can even shorten the length of TOM so I am crossing my fingers for that this time around.

rainydays - Hope you had a great trip! A little get-away (and break from exercise) can definitely be a good thing. Good to see that you're ready to get back at it, though! Good luck getting into the swing of things.

emilyk - So happy to hear your back is improving. Try not to stress too much about the health stuff (I know, easier said than done!) But stress eating will only make you feel worse. I do the exact same thing. I KNOW I shouldn't eat something but I do it anyway, especially when stressed. The other night I was arguing with my boyfriend and angrily munched on cookies while he was in the other room. So totally uncalled for, but I do it anyway. Have you found any fun hobbies/activities you can do for stress relief rather than eating? Knitting, reading, anything like that? Good luck to you through all of this health stuff. My prayers are definitely with you!

HI all, Well done to all last week's losers

How did I celebrate mine? CONFESSION TIME...... Handed in my last uni papers on Monday, then we all went for food and drinks, lots and lots of drinks, whoops! I did really well with the food considering, didn't ahve any drunken munchies, and as we were eating greek I picked the best main I could, grillled kebab, and only had a few of the chips and tzatziki, I did have my share of the mezze appetizer though! However, when uploading my drinks into MFP I could have cried, whooops!!

Then, yesterday was hangover day, I did so well until tea time, having had a healthy breakfast and lunch and feeling rotten! But went round to my mates for tea, and her fella cooked a carb fest and then served the biggest bowl of dessert, and there was no way I was saying no!

BUT, I'm back on it today, 2 hours at the gym this evening, Pump and boxercise, and back to my normal healthy food....

As if all that wasn't enough TOM too, so if I record a loss this weekend, it'll be a miracle!

AK well done on sticking to your goals! Sounds like you're in a good head space right now, long may it continue!!

Emily great news about the back, I hope it finally improving will help with yoour anxiety, be kind to yourself

Rainydays enjoy getting back on that exercise bandwagon! I dont go to the gym on Monday and tuesdays as they dont run any classes I like, but I normally workout at home and jog on a Mon and take Tues as my rest day maybe with a jog. But thanks to partying shenanigans, I've done nothing since my spinning class on Sunday, so looking forward to sweat and burn for a couple of hours this evening!

Retiredone have a great week yourself

Leslie Your move sounds exciting!!!

Had a 5.77 mile bike ride this morning, it was a good way to get back into the swing of things. As I posted elsewhere, I remember biking 35-40 miles as a kid without blinking an eye, but this morning less than 6 miles was kicking my butt! To be fair to myself, there really is a difference between spinning and actual hills. Not that they were huge hills, but they were there.

ak, you're a great motivator

retiredone, you're so right about those grocery store samples. I try to avoid those like the plague!

Leslie, congrats and good luck with the move!

takingcontrol, hey sometimes you just gotta celebrate! Congrats!!

Hi CONGRATULATIONS to takingcontrol, rainydays, EofAZ, emilyK for being our biggest losers this week.

I have had an on off week, getting really tired of exercising and eating right and not losing a single thing. I'm under mt WW points and calories and still nothing.

My body must like this weight but I sure don't. The bad thing is I just cant be happy......I think that's the trick be happy no matter what and the rest will come. Easier said than done though.

I have lots of people in my life that are bigger than me and they are all beautiful in everyday. Then I look in the mirror and all I see is the fat and think you have no reason to be here......crazy how the scale can affect a mind like that. I know better but that stupid number. I'm not sure the scale would bother me as much if I was at least noticing a difference in my clothes.

I should concentrate on getting fitter but that's not the reason I exercise for. Maybe need a mind meld or something. well I walked a 5k for charity on Sunday and came in close to the front of the pack so I know that I am in better shape than a lot of "skinny" people as they were not even going to the end and turning around....they cut some of the route off.....number one it 5k...really, and it's for charity people donated to you to finish.....crazy. Anyway pleased with my time as it was bottle necked at the start so took a bit to break out front and I was done in 50min walking so I though that's not to bad.

Jumped on the scale this morning and it finally went done a teeeny tiny amount but at least a new number sequence. Let's hope I can keep it off + some of its friends by Sunday.

Anyway I'll keep plugging along and hopefully I can get ack to where I was a year and a half ago. Gets tougher to lose each time.

Anyway going to get a second cup of coffee, have a Dr. appointment today so no work

Everyone have a wonderful day!!

sorry for the long post, it's not a I feel sorry for myself one today just a does anyone else ever feel like this kind of one

It has been a strange week. Had to make two unplanned trips home from work and that made me need to work late to make up the time. I have been all off schedule not getting lunches packed and the last couple of days my rings have been tight so I knew I was retaining water. I really didn't expect a loss this week but low and behold I must have made better choices than I thought. I may not be the biggest loser but at least I am a loser.

I plan on finishing cleaning the garage today and will have my weight bench setup before the end of the weekend. I can hardly wait to start using it again. I love the feeling of really using your muscles. It is better than a really good stretch.

Have a good weekend everyone and good luCk on you weigh-ins.

Hi all. Im hanging on by the skin on my teeth. Its been a crappy couple of weeks. Im about to start an elimination diet to (hopefully) find what is making me feel like this constantly. Im so over allergies, the things i know already i cant avoid: perfume, grass, natural gas, car exhaust fumes and yeast. My family joke and say i need to live in a bubble. Sorry for the sook.

Best of luck with weigh in all

Hey everybody,
This new job is kicking my butt. I haven't been watching any TV and haven't had time to be on the computer. Just working, sleeping, taking care of kids, taking care of the house/yard.... REPEAT!
I miss being on here getting the support and giving it
I have been so tired and I'm so hungry by the end of my shifts that I've been eating whatever. The scale has come down a bit, but it's because of all the exercise of being on my feet/running/scrubbing at work. I'm used to eating every 2-3 hrs for my diet but with work I'm going up to 6 hrs without food so then I'm ravaging hungry. I ate 6 pieces of pizza last night and 3 breadsticks
I guess I have to learn how to make it all work for myself, its real life time.
Good luck on weigh-ins tomorrow! You ladies are the best!
Go Blue Team!
